It is essentially like cash, you print of the certificate and then when you get your truck the dealer will use the code to take the $500 off the price

The dealer essentially files for the rebate for you, and typically will apply it directly to the purchase of the vehicle. You do have the option to receive it as cash if you would prefer..

the fine print says it can't be used "with most Ford Motor Company private incentives or AXZD-plans" so I am assuming it is an either or situation.

I'v seen dealers stack national offers in their sale adds,
$500 recent Grad , $500 First Responder ect.
Private offers and incentives different story.
Won't hurt to try.

Here in IL it only costs $20 for the year and you have to be a member for 30 days before you can use the cash offer.
