I made a few statements saying that I had a theory Tremor owners would see much better fuel economy than the EPA rating states, there's no reason a Tremor with heavier tires should see any different mileage than my Ecoboost 4K AWD with heavier tires and I routinely see mid 30s on the highway. When I picked it up yesterday it had 3 miles on it and I drove it home on a 2 lane hilly twisting back road at between 60 and 65 MPH. Holds the road and takes the curves beautifully-the suspension is a little stiffer than my Ranger but I attribute that to the Tremor package and it has a higher pay load. Stopped in town to pick up groceries and show it to my daughter and when I got home it showed 28MPG. Lost 3MPG today idling in my driveway going no where with the heater on playing with the various controls and displays. Finally had to get out the owners manual to figure out how in hell to raise the hood. No safety latch-you have to work the hood release fully twice! Who Knew! Altitude here about 1600 feet-Missouri Ozarks.
I ordered a 22 on 11 Jan and reordered a 23 with the Tremor pkg in Sept. Never got the 22!Why is it that I ordered a 2022 several months ago and you got a 2023 before I got my 2022. WOW what a bunch of bologna. But nice truck congrats to you.
For sure it is because you live in Portland. Why is it that I ordered a 2022 several months ago and you got a 2023 before I got my 2022. WOW what a bunch of bologna. But nice truck congrats to you.

Max tow for a Forester is only 1,500 lbs unless you go to the Wilderness version which then doubles it to 3k - interesting. Outback does 2,700 lbs standard and 3,500 lbs with the Wilderness.I would have been all over the Tremor for 2022 - If # 1- Was actually offered and # 2 - Could tow like as much as like a Rav4 /Subaru- etc. Only 2000 LBS- Ugh- I know I am going to miss those locker since it appears the traction control nanny locks up wheel spin when its needed most off-road- I don't get it... Cheers-
Owners manual tells you to turn off the traction control if you are stuck in mud or snow as that allows all wheels to turn so I would imagine you could do the same if you were in really crappy conditions!Max tow for a Forester is only 1,500 lbs unless you go to the Wilderness version which then doubles it to 3k - interesting. I'd imagine you can exceed the 2k rating for the Tremor without much harm but wouldn't tow anything close to 4K without a brake controller.
Just showed up at the dealer so it hasn't gone through PDC yet but I stopped by to check it out. Very dirty still but can't wait to pick it up next week!

Does the Avalanche grey have blue tones or is it more like a very light grey? Some pics have a bluish hue so hard to tell. Mine has been sitting at rail yard for two weeks (27 miles away)
They should be cloth, but XLT has a vinyl map pocket in the passanger front seat. I think either lariat or xlt lux has the pockets on both seatsAre the seat backs cloth or vinyl on XLT? My grandkids like to park their muddy feet there.
wow, it's quite a stretch to call that XLT seat 'black'. there's been a lot of crazy comments flying around in this thread, a mix of speculation and a few facts. Here are several pictures curtesy of hurrah-
Thanks
(got to keep your thumb away from the lens)

Haven't had an opportunity to drive it much yet but I love it so far. Still getting used to how different it is being back in a "normal" vehicle after coming from my BMW M340 with 380hp ha. It still has a good bit of power (although I need to figure out how to unlock Sport mode), is super comfortable, and lots of little features that the bimmer didn't have. I will likely tune it right away to unlock some more power and plan on ordering the full bed rug/tonneau cover today as well. How do you like it so far?
