It has the bigger screen. Yes the XLT too. It needs the bigger screen for the Off-road modes. If I end up being wrong, I'll come and eat my crow. Also if they change the seats AND screen from what was originally was implied, then I will strongly consider going FX4. Those are what made it a decent value for me.
a screen and seats is what the value is for you? Not the entirely different 4WD system, suspension, lift, everything in the black appearance package and more for $2,995? Honestly asking because those are the least important parts for me.

Yep. The upgraded 4wd system will be fun to play with, but I don't need it, and won't be using it every day. I will however be looking at that dash every time I get in the car and see those seats every time I'm on it. The seats aren't as big of a deal, because I think they will still go pretty good with the avalanche color scheme. I like the look of the Tremor, and picked it to because it would be a little more unique. So yeah, the aesthetics matter to me.

then I’m not sure why the tremor is even on your list if the seats and screen are what you’re after. Both can be had for less $ and less of an MPG hit. Unless the orange accents are a must.

I clearly stated why. Read the last couple of sentences in my message you quoted. Not sure why you are trying get in a pissing match. I ordered a Tremor day one. Didn't you just switch to it?

“why are you getting into a pissing match” -you

“I ordered day one” - you initiating a literal pissing match

“lol they’re blue” - you

“they aren’t” - me

“why so upset?!” - you

I simply corrected you on the color while giving my opinion on the package being useless if you don’t even off-road. That is simply my opinion. Please point to where me asking what is most important in a package to you is “a pissing match”?

The projection is strong with you. Easiest block on this site since I joined lmao.

Not going to post my messages, but I direct messaged Texas Truck on IG and they just confirmed the XLT Tremor has the 6.5 cluster!

I wanted to confirm because the user in the YouTube comments who said it did have it, wasn’t the Texas truck account.

One of the reasons we went FX4/Lariat was the 6.5 inch screen cluster. I could not have lived with the 4.2 -

The 4.5" doesn't have sufficient resolution or refresh to display the Off-Road screen - i.e. you can Forscan it onto any 6" screen, but you can't onto the smaller one, because this is a hardware, not software limitation.

That's why the FX4 includes the larger screen, and why the Tremor will as well.

That's what I was thinking by didn't know. Would make no sense FX4 would need rh larger screen for off road but Tremor wouldn't.

Is someone just messing around with Forscan, because I believe that top picture is a hybrid instrument cluster? If not, why would it have an off road screen?

I have owned both and like the smaller screen which for me has less fluff to look at and maybe silly but also prefer the old analog style fuel and temp gauges. My first Mav had the the bigger screen (Lariat and had to have it) but after a year and swapping the truck for a XLT I am liking the smaller screen better or maybe I am thinking of the money I saved. :)
