We covered our Maverick and installed a Battery Minder to keep the battery full charged. The truck has not been driven for exactly 2 weeks now and we received the following message from FordPass Connect. We know that the battery is at full charge so evidently 2 weeks without starting the truck must signal the notification.

I think it says that if it’s not driven for 14 days it will automatically go into deep sleep mode no matter what.

Mine does that also but for the OP situation it will go into deep sleep no matter what after 2 weeks of not being used. His is acting as it should.

Yeah, so there are different events that can cause the vehicle to go into deep sleep mode.

One is if the BMS (Battery Management System) detects that the voltage on the battery has dropped too low. In that case, the notification from FordPass will indicate that this is "because your battery charge level is low".

Another is an automatic timer after the last time the vehicle has been turned on - that appears to be 14 days. That gets the notification of "Don't worry though, nothing is wrong. This happens automatically when you haven't started your vehicle for a period of time." This is proactive before the BMS even detects a low battery, the logic being that you seem to have parked your vehicle and thus don't need the FordPass Connect modem running.

If the 12V battery charge level is low, then there are other things that happen including the interior lighting remaining off when the vehicle is unlocked/door is opened. Not sure if this happens when the vehicle has simply been parked for an extended duration.

Took the full day to recharge. Took in to dealership and then they blamed a 3rd party non-Ford phone script as the root cause. Dump that script found on this host and haven’t had as bad an issue after a second need to recharge a few weeks later (learned I needed to due a reset of battery software after charging )

Turn key flash highbeam 5 times times then hit the brakes three times and the battery software will reset and flash the battery icon on dash screen to tell you it did.
Due that after a battery recharged by external charger. Should also then wait 8 hours before driving.
