False notification from Ford Pass.

After driving 400 miles on vacation I stop at the hotel and awakened by this notifications.
I checked my remote and every function was working fine.

I decided to turn off all of the Ford pass options on my truck and phone, due to the constant updates and messages. I've decided I don't need to be that in touch with my Maverick. I do miss having an remote start on the key fob.

One of the selling points of Ford Pass is the ability, if the vehicle is stolen, to quickly report it via the app so that the police/highway patrol can track it.

If it's stolen. I don't want it back.
Besides, Apple Air tags work just as well and they don't drain your battery.
Fifty two years driving, forty seven vehicles owned. Only one stolen. A mini van. I found it myself. I wish I hadn't found it.

I have tracked and recovered stolen vehicles for years and never got one tracked with FordPass. Never have I seen a actual advertisement for it.
