Kind of reluctant to make any changes at this point, since from what others have posted many dealers are unclear on how to properly process them.

So they should add the SIBL and 61D Bed Tie down Locking Rails w/2 Locking Brackets.Remember, it has been pointed out by fordvideoguy that ordering the CMS can be confusing for some Sales individuals. You may want to point out that you want to add the "BED TIE DOWN LOCKING RAILS w/2 LOCKING BRACKETS" (order code 61D). That's the same item that can confusingly also be referred to as the "CARGO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM" or "6 D-LINK BED CONNECTORS".
Yet another mess...So they should add the SIBL and 61D Bed Tie down Locking Rails w/2 Locking Brackets.
So did Ford make a mistake by calling it the Cargo Management System? Seems like a pretty confusing bundle, especially if you don't get to see if you actually got the discount until your truck arrives.
Will they actually make a change so that dealers can see the discount when they put it in?
Seems hard to trust this upgrade as is.
Agreed. And so much conflicting info coming out even from Ford themselves. Not worth the risk. I’m just gonna let my order ride (love a good pun) and be happy with what I get (if I do get something).Kind of reluctant to make any changes at this point, since from what others have posted many dealers are unclear on how to properly process them.
It would also reset the date if you change a Lariat trim from Hybrid to EB, because that drags along the AWD option (required for Lariat EB). Thus the body code changes from W8E to W8F. That is the specific question I was responding to. Sorry if it was unclear. No
I think it only resets the order date if you change trim like xl to XLT and/or body code from non-tremor to tremor. I think motor changes won't change order receipt date but even then if you have a priority 10 at your dealer it would just put you in the back of the que to other priority 10's. You would still be ahead of the 11, 12, 13 etc assuming your dealer has segregated based on rollover month like LM. If you are a new 23 I believe it would put you at the back of the line.
Both of the dealers I ordered from did the same thing: All '23 orders went in as Priority 10. Both said they had zero roll-over '22s.I asked my dealer the same thing and he said there was no "line" just a pool of orders that Ford picks from. So, at least from my dealer, it's just what ever Ford decides to build. Everyone also has the same Priority Code.
Ford has updated their communication about Maverick builds and is giving dealers and customers a chance to change their options.

I was wondering about this. Do we know this for a fact, or is that the kind of thing where all the people say "no it won't" but the computer says "yes it does"?It would also reset the date if you change a Lariat trim from Hybrid to EB, because that drags along the AWD option (required for Lariat EB). I think it stands for United States Order Bank.sorry but what is the usob and the capacity lines referring to?
Thanks, I'll bring that up today.Remember, it has been pointed out by fordvideoguy that ordering the CMS can be confusing for some Sales individuals. I was told by the Maverick team last night that the order date is not being used in determining Scheduling this year because all the orders came in such a short amount of time.
I do not personally know this for a fact, but Tim Bartz unequivocally said it in his video on this topic. And I'd take what he says to the bank...I was wondering about this. Do we know this for a fact, or is that the kind of thing where all the people say "no it won't" but the computer says "yes it does"?
According to Tim Bartz's video on this topic, it will NOT change your order, unless you have a Lariat Hybrid on order... On the Lariat, a change fro Hybrid to EB forces a change from FWD (W8E) to AWD (W8F), which is a different "series code" (chassis) and that WOULD re-set your order date.I quit following this thread after 5 pages so this may have been covered but, will a hybrid to eco change push the previous (now eco) order to a priority code that’s toward the end of a dealers list? Meaning if person X was an eco order at priority 10 and person Y was a hybrid order at priority 10 but wanted to change to an eco, would the dealer put them to priority 11 effectively putting them toward the back of the line?
Please don’t respond with the “it comes down to more than just priority code. Ya gotta think of allocations and constraints” spiel, I’m pretty well versed in it. My question is will it effectively move the changed order to the back of the line.
