Generally. But it depends on the dealer. My dealer had no hybrid rollovers I am aware of whereas others had a ton.

See, that's the question I have. Was the order count they gave me for Long-Lewis or that Long-Lewis? I'm assuming you used Hoover? I used Prattville.

Is yours a hybrid or EB order?
i order a hybrid from long lewis of hoover!

I honestly don't know. My salesman in Prattville pretty much steered me away from the hybrid from the get go, saying the hybrid orders have been the ones they have seen take a while. When I told him I wanted an EB anyway, he seemed relieved. So, he didn't tell me they had any hybrid rollovers. But as I was ordering an EB, there was a good chance he didn't feel it was worth mentioning.

He just stuck with his "late Spring" talking point.

My salesman and dealer don’t seem super knowledgeable. I rely on Ford and call and bother them for updates.

Last Ford told me there was “activity” on my 9/17 hybrid order and there was an inquiry made on getting some of the parts together.

I do know that i was a priorty 10 and was time stamped on 9/15/22 at 6:26 pm and it was confirmed and i have a C.O.V.P. veri# and that they had a total of 371 orders some of that fleet. what hurts me is it being a hybrid and also a X L Maverick, But that being said this is the largest and oldest ford dearlership in Alabama 111 years with no left over models they got all there allowcations from last year and i thought this was a great dealership to get mine from i got a Maverick Lariat from them last year on Jan 29th hybrid and i absolutely love this truck!

Wow. Mine told me ~110 orders. I was also priority 10. Entered on 9/16. I've had no complaints with them so far. The EB gives me confidence I'll get it eventually. Hopefully, we will pass each other in our new trucks on I-65 some time.

yeah, i don’t think this post is quite accurate. This forum needs a section to itself of freak-outs of order holders who got breaking news from their local, uninformed dealer.

I don't normally do this, but for you OP I'll make an exception. There's this YouTube channel called "Long McArthur", it has a wealth of information straight from a Ford Salesman/Internet Sales Manager named Tim Bartz. Good channel to subscribe to to stay up to date on all the news concerning Mavericks. Most, if not all of the livestreams are also podcasts, so you can listen to them on the go...

I probably have too much faith in Ford but personally I think if Ford had a number in mind that they could build they could have shut off the orders when that number was reached. And they did shut off the hybrid orders early. So, I am not convinced that they are not going to be able to build most of those hybrids. Only time will show of course.
They tried that scheme and failed miserably in the 2022s.
Ford cut off Hybrid orders 11/15/21 because they thought they had reached the limit. WRONG number.
Then in summer, rolled over some hybrid orders they felt they couldn't build and told them to reorder 2023s. WRONG number.
Then the pile of us (reportedly 6,900) who had VINs assigned were cancelled and Ford ordered us 2023s because they learned we couldn't be built.
So they had a handle on what could be built, and each time they over-estimated.

OP apparently didn't do any research here and took what his dealer told him as fact. What percentage of ordered/reordered hybrids will get built in MY23? Well that depends on how far into 2023 Ford keeps building them, but what I've read here it may be 50-60% of orders. 100% of Ecoboost orders unless constraints pop up that prevent that many from being built. It looks like Ford will have lots of Ecoboost capacity that can be used for South America or fleet sales.

I'll again say, if Ford really does have a glut of hybrid orders they truly cannot build and nowhere near the EB orders they can build, wouldn't it make sense for them to open a brief window for dealers to change some hybrids to EB IF that's what the customer wanted? I mean, I won't, I want and need my hybrid, but some would and there seems to be zero downside for Ford to allow it.
50/50 they let dealers put in orders for EB mavericks with lux packages and such instead of just opening it up to hybrid orders that can't be built. Or just give them a choice to take a chance on hybrid or convert to EB. Dealers are probably not happy about not getting any stock mavericks to sell and have to constantly rely on customer cancellations. I know I wouldn't be happy if I was a dealer.

I went in and spoke directly to the service manager at my dealer today. I confronted him with what the OP said here. He indicated to me that, because they used to be a full line Ford-Mercury-Lincoln dealership that all the Mavs they ordered will automatically include the Lux package and all trailer hitches will be installed by the U-Haul across the street. He said that by ordering all the Mavs that way, they are guaranteed to arrive at the dealership before Valentines day. He did mention that hitch install may take an additional 7-19 months as the U-Haul dealer is severely understaffed. Oh and he mentioned as I was leaving that all Hybrid orders are being funneled to your local NAPA franchise as Ford has decided to rollover all retail Mav Hybrid orders automatically into F-350 Lightning Rods. They figure if you care about saving gas you should have all electric.
