A question for Tim @fordvideoguy. For those of us that put in "rollover" orders in September for a 2023, should the Private Offer be visible by the dealer in Smart Vincent, by now? Would it be under "Certificates"? If it should be, but is not, is there a problem, and can it be corrected by the dealer or Ford. I had an unfulfilled 2022 order, so I placed a new 2023 order on Sept. 16. I told my dealer to NOT cancel my 2022 order so I could get the Private Offer. My 2023 order has a current production week of December 19, 2022. Thanks.

They should be in the certificate inquiry by now for those unscheduled 22 orders. If you don't see it, I'm afraid that the chances are very likely that your dealer did not get a COVP approval on your 2022 order. That was required in getting a private offer.

Rollover orders needed to be added as new orders when the order banks opened up in September. If you are referring to the Canceled scheduled 2022 orders, they have not shown up yet. It will be Monday at the earliest. Probably EOB on Monday.

Hi Tim,
I'm in the same boat, but my dealer has an approved COVP for my original order dated 11/4/21 (I sent you a copy in a PM). Checked with the Sales Manager today and there is no certificate showing. You mentioned something to me about having them contact their brand manager (customer service rep?) to see what the problem is. Is this the correct way to go????

I would have them reach out to the Maverick Brand Manager.

Well I had verified the private offer as soon as I received email. Dealer copies his Sheet that said I was eligible,
had a number on it, Beginning to think it was a general form not explicitly for me?
But it does not show in Smart Vincent

I didn't want to create a new thread since this question has already been asked seemingly a million times, but I'm hoping Tim @fordvideoguy can help.

11/2021 - place order for hybrid XLT
6/2022 - receive the "if we cannot build 2022, you get a private offer towards 2023" email
9/2022 - order was re-entered
10/2022 - receive email for scheduled production 11/21/2022 for MY23 and VIN generated

Today I called Ford marketing, they confirmed my order number (same one from 11/2021), VIN, etc. I asked about the "private offer" and the only thing they told me they saw was offer #30804, which doesn't match what I've seen as the "private offer." Is this something I should be concerned about, or did the marketing rep not know what they were looking at? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!!

I can't get private offer to show up. Not in smart vincent...not calling ford 800 number... not getting my sales guy to seem to find either. ... I know I'm going have to fight this. It's been months since it was announced.

Your dealer may need to contact their Inventory specialist. There were some private offers that they could not match up with orders.

I spent 35 minutes at my dealer today and they did have a clue about the private offer or where to look it up. They kept saying I needed to have a 2023 VIN to find it. Anyway they stated they have never had one missed and they will research it and get back to us.

The good news is our 2022 order is now cancelled and we have an order for a 2023 (unscheduled at the moment). So at least they have done the transition properly and the order number is the same.

Thank you for responding!

I've reached out to my dealer, but I am not encouraged by their response. I listened to your livestream yesterday and you made mention about how some orders can be corrected and some cannot. What determines whether or not the inventory specialist/dealership can get it corrected?

My order has been built and is scheduled for delivery this month, but obviously having to pay an extra ~$3k is not something that I was expecting.

As I mentioned Tuesday, as long as you had a COVP approved 2022 order you would be eligible for a private offer. If you had an approved order and the offer is not showing when they pull it then the dealer needs to reach out to the Inventory Specialist to match up the private offer with their order and put in the correct address so it will show when they pull it again. I've had good luck getting these fixed. I just gave a list of 29 to my Inventory Specialist on Monday to do the same.

I contacted my sales rep and apparently the only person at the dealer that can look into this is the GM(???) who of course wasn't there... How long should I wait before I reach back out to them? I don't want to bother them, but at the same time, I want to make sure this gets resolved before the truck actually arrives.
