Yes it is plausible.There are just too many assumptions in this line of thinking. You may be right, but keep in mind, they watched order volume coming in..... they warned Dealers 4 days after order window opened that it would later close.... and then they closed the window...
Did they presell 100% of capacity? Dunno. We do know that while Maverick is crazy high demand, it is also catabolizing Ford Ranger sales, and Bronco sales are slowing.
Why did they close the order banks (with a lot of thoughtful preparation?).
You may be just fine. It makes sense for them to want cars on the lots of dealers.
I am speculating in the other direction, but it's plausible that they build everything that was ordered within the entirety of a year.
