Except that school buses aren't yellow. Modern school buses are yellow-orange. The term is a throwback to the thirties when they were first introduced....and actually were yellow. But whatever we want to call it, it's a beautiful color!

Agreed! But what jumps out at me from this chart is the wagon and the convertible. I didn't even know they made those...and I owned an original Maverick back in the day. Maybe I just don't get out enough.....

I joked about the color's visibility factor to my wife when I first saw it in person....but turns out it is totally true. Even in a sea of cars in a parking lot, you can pick it out in an instant. Safe to say we won't have to worry about forgetting where we parked ever again.

Just make sure you don't park in the local school bus storage area...............

The first time I went to a Ford dealer to work on ordering my Maverick, I was thinking Cyber Orange would be cool. Sounded cool, right?
I pulled up to the dealership and there was a Bronco sport out front rocking the cyber school bus orange whatever, and I instantly changed my color choice.
Happy with my Hot Pepper Red. Which isn't really red.

Looking real close at that chart (best my old eyes will do, anyway), it looks like the wagon and convertible are "conversions" so likely aftermarket stuff. But I DO like that wagon! The convertible looks like a cross between a Mustang front end, and a Camaro back end - if you squint just a little bit...

Someday I'll see this color on a Maverick myself. I still have not seen one. It's a unicorn for sure. I do know what the color looks like because I've seen it on the Bronco, Bronco Sport, Ranger, and a Mustang Mach-E GT. I'm sure it looks great. But this quite literally paints the picture of how similar it is to School Bus Yellow.

That is exactly what my sister said after she saw a Maverick in cyber orange!! She told me, "the one I saw was school bus orange"...
