Yes, I bit the bullet yesterday and got a used 2022 Maverick XL Hybrid with just over 3300 miles. I didn't go to the dealer to buy it, but knew it was there & planned to check it out. It was the 3rd Ford I drove: Explorer first, then the Edge; then for fun, I drove the Maverick & was sold. I have always like them since they came out, but did not do my homework. All said, I feel like I got a great deal. After almost 5 hours I start off on my 30 minute drive home. Yep, no cruise control! Shame on me but shame on Ford! I am happy anyway and excited for our new adventures together.

I've had my Lariat Hybrid about 1.5 weeks now, and am having fun learning how to maximize the fuel efficiency. About 130 miles so far, overall 37 mpg so far, keeps going up as I drive it. Other day drove 11 mile trip, up and down hills, even was doing 50 mph in battery mode for a short time, but that trip averaged 48.7 mpg. Have fun!

Around town use EV coach if high MPG matters to you is my one piece of advice.

EVERYTHING without a signed contract (like 2021 orders) is at inflated prices.

Food is 13% over MSRP

Home Depot goods are 40% over MSRP.

Gasoline is 100% over MSRP in the midwest and 200% over MSRP on the west coast.

If you can get a truck (any truck) for less than 13% inflation you got a great deal. And 20% over MSRP is reasonable in my book due to today's market.

Lucky to get my hybrid last January and I still constantly invent reasons to drive it. Once you get familiar with the truck, try the Sport mode. Just make sure you've got some room for some get up and go driving.

A new lariat at the dealer here is 15k over msrp. Expectations of the Maverick being a cheap truck out the window.
it has been the best vehicle I have owned. so much versatility in an efficient compact package.

I drove my 04 Ranger xlt for years without cruise. Yes, I wanted cruise but kept driving it until I ordered my new hybrid Mav.

This is day three since I picked up my hybrid. I finished installing my hard cover roll up & rack. The instructions & how they packaged the rack was just organized terrible! I will post pics of the setup tomorrow.

This morning I went to workout and kind of parked my hybrid away from other cars (I hate door dings). When I finished working what did I see...another hybrid parked next to me! The plate cover & hitch sticker is pretty funny.

I drove my 04 Ranger xlt for years without cruise. Yes, I wanted cruise but kept driving it until I ordered my new hybrid Mav.

We got the XLT primarily because my wife would not buy a car without cruise control. I am pretty certain it has yet to be used at all in the Maverick (in 6 months and ~4k miles) and it's probably been used half a dozen times in 7yrs and 70k miles in our jetta.

Tomorrow I hope to pickup my 2022 Ford Maverick Lariet Hybrid in Cactus Gray. The truck was a cancelled order retail truck. It has everything except moon roof, which I never used in my other vehicles. I was very lucky to find it.
