I ordered 2 Truxedo Sentry CTs for my Maverick and for my dad's. My maverick came in first and I received it and installed it with no issues. My dad's Maverick was scheduled to arrive in August, so we placed the order for his bed cover and of course the truck got delayed quite a bit. By the time it arrived in October, I pulled out the 2nd Sentry CT and installed it only to discover that it was missing the loops that you connect the straps to in order to secure the cover when rolled up. Realtruck.com will only support problems within the first 30 days of the purchase (after delivery of their product). They spent a bunch of time having me go through the customer service process only to tell me that they would not help me and I'd have to deal directly with Truxedo. I know a lot of you are out there ordering things for your often delayed Mavericks. I'd just advise that if you do that make sure that you thoroughly inspect what you are sent, because it's likely the company you are purchasing from will not support it if you get outside that customer service window. I'm not sure I would have noticed this issue if I hadn't installed the exact same cover beforehand. I had no issues with Realtruck.com otherwise, but I did assume that the cover would be just as good as the first one that I received and that was a BAD assumption. I'm disappointed they wouldn't support this issue either since we're in an environment where vehicles are often delayed and folks are trying to get the parts they want when they are available. Anyhow, that was my experience. I'm working with Truxedo now to get it resolved. I'll update with that information as I get it.

The sentry CT is a decent quality cover. It looks great, but it wouldn't take much effort to pry it open, just FYI on that.

Honestly, I'm so paranoid about the entire process, I won't buy anything until it is in my driveway. A lot can happen between now and then.

Hopefully you get it resolved. And I think @Realtruck lurks on the forum. So, maybe someone in the upper management will get the memo that it isn't worth the bad publicity over a couple metal rings.

Your cover has a warranty, so Truxedo should be able to resolve this for you.

This is why I waited, to order my cover, until I had my truck. Realtruck has a 30 day exchange policy, so I wanted to be sure I could take advantage of it; which I ended up needing to do.

It's always better to buy something like this at a local truck accessories store. They will typically take care of any warranty issues for as long as the warranty lasts. And with everyone selling most brands at MAP (Minimum Advertised Price), there's usually no downside to buying local.

I used to own a truck and offroad shop and we always told our customers to call us first if they ran into a warranty issue. We could typically get issues resolved within a matter of days and it never cost the customer a dime, even when it meant shipping a product back in exchange for a replacement.

That 30-day policy is really inadequate, IMHO.

Clearly, my I would deal with Truxedo directly when I buy my cover. Real TRUCK lost ,e as a customer. There is a build/delivery issue with the Mavericks and Real Truck is well aware. If nothing else, they should have reached out to Truxedo. Auto anything and Etsy and eBay are great at customer service.

I have the same problem with realtruck.com. When my 2022 Ford Maverick was shipped, I ordered Bushwacker fender flares from realtruck. 35 days later my maverick arrived and tried to have bushwacker installed. First the bolts were already installed and the tork wrench was missing to take them off to paint. Next the left front flare had the gasket installed and was scratched. Thinking flare was placed on cement to install gasket. Third the left front mounting bracket and screw holding the bracket on the truck is missing. Fourth the invoice was for a tailgate assist kit made out to a Tony V. in Kansas City, Kansas. Which is 1100 miles away from me. I am out over 400 dollars with this fly by night company.

My experience with Realtruck was very good. I received a Lo Pro cover which was defective, so I emailed them, and they emailed me back with a return authorization within a few hours. I called in FedX for the pickup and once they received it a replacement was sent the next day. So don't give up on them. Their prices for Maverick Truck Club members are the lowest I found, and the cover came with a Lifetime guarantee.

My wife bought me some cool letters for the tailgate from Amazon...but since the truck isn't here, we sent them back to await its arrival...someday.

@Clintk55

I apologize for your issue regarding this. Like many other people who have reached out to me in the past regarding issues related to products, they can give testimony on how we make sure to take care of issues as best as possible. Our standard customer service procedures, as listed on our website state that anything over 30 days has to be handled directly through the manufacturer. If you reach out directly to me even if a few days after the 30-day mark I can certainly see what I can do to get any and all issues resolved for you. We try to make the entire process as simple and as pain-free as possible from offering exclusive pricing that you will not find anywhere else and handling the customer service issues hands-on when you reach out to me, but there are some procedures in place that we do have to follow as a company, the main difference is I work solely on forums and can at times push a little harder

Another benefit of ordering directly through us is we are the parent company for brands like TruXedo and any warranty issues after the 30-day mark is handled without any issue.

If you want to, so I can check on the status of it, PM/email me your email and I will reach out to my contact over a TruXedo and ensure this is being handled properly and quickly

I thought I had the same issue with that cover on my Ranger and only after installing and was pissed about it until I discovered the loops were turned under between the foam seal on the bulkhead and the edge of the cover so fortunately I was able to pull them out.
