Wondering if anybody else has had this issue with their windshield washers🤔 I noticed my driver side washer barely squirted water and the passenger side had no spray. I did not get a windshield washer fluid level low notification but I filled it up anyway thinking there must be something wrong with the warning light. After filling up the reservoir I still had the same small spurt of fluid on the driver side and nothing on the passenger side☹ Not sure what to try next but I have a 450 mile trip to make this week and service appts. at Ford are several weeks away☹

Hopefully it's just a loose hose. This makes sense because the driver side is the farthest sprayer from the reservoir. Turn on your windshield washer for about 5 to 10 seconds then open the hood and look for any wet spots in the engine bay.

Thank you! As soon as it warms up a bit I will go outside and try that.

Can you hear the washer motor run? It might be located at the bottom of the washer tank.

Yes it actually pumps but no water except for spurts comes out.

You can disconnect the hose from the pump and see if fluid comes out with some pressure. If not, the pump is weak or there is a clog. If it comes out OK, then you might have a clogged or split hose going to the sprayers.

You mentioned checking when it warms up. You’re not using plain water are you? That’ll freeze up fast in thin washer hoses.

She's in Florida so maybe to her, warm up means 75° 🙄(I'm not jealous)

Wow, it’s been so dry this year I can’t recall ever needing to use the sprayer. But I get the washer fluid low warning anyway.

I think it might be a clog because there was no water when I tried it and it still spurts a little water on the windshield. Any suggestions on how to get rid of a clog?

Make your appointment at the dealer and get it fixed under warranty
I have an appointment in early November but that doesn’t help me on my long drive to FL☹ I guess I’ll carry a 1 gallon jug of water with me to wash the bugs off the windshield.

There is a connection where the hose T's. Pull the tubing off at each connection and also at the nozzles trying the washer until you can isolate which section is clogged and then replace that section. Tubing and nozzles are cheap and available at most parts stores.
