GFC Go Fast Camper installed on my Maverick Hybrid

I picked up my GFC today in Montana. Very lovely experience. The GFC crew is super friendly and gives you a fun demo once your camper is installed on your truck.

i have been living in my Maverick for about 7-8 months now and this camper is so fancy and roomy. It is only first day but totally in love so far.

@DrIllyich had the first prototype model and apparently I have the first production model of this camper.

For those wondering in my first 100 miles I got 36 MPG. Mostly highway driving south from Bozeman, MT next to the Maddison river. Which has quite a few hills. So I think the camper barely affects MPG.

Well that's pretty damn cool. Out of curiosity how hard is it attached? Would it be simple to pop it on or off or is it a damn big chore to remove/install it?

It is attached with four clamps to the inside of the truck bed. You have to unscrew those to take it off. Similar to taking of a truck rack.

Of course the camper with the roof top tent is pretty big. You’d need two people for sure. Maybe more.

Very interesting. Makes the small bed less of an issue. About how much is it?

Starts at $7700 USD.
Mine was $8300 because I added the rear window and roof top bars.

Quite A bit of money, but if you live in your truck all day every day it is still a very cheap option.

I personally find it very comfortable, but I have read some people fond the mattress too firm. (Perfect for me though).
