Not sure anyone on this forum could answer that... they are all over priced. But I do have a limit on the amount of time I can wait, so if Ford can't build my 9/16 ordered hybrid by then, I will be looking elsewhere. Actually, I am already looking elsewhere because i don't think Ford can build what was ordered. But i may be able to convince the wife to sell her prius and keep the maverick in like 14 months when it is finally built.
Ok, so if the choice is paying 5-10k more for a different vehicle, or paying 2-5k over msrp for a Maverick from a dealer, what advantage is there to the former?

I don't think the maverick is worth that price. I get awd and far more options with the former. But by all means, tell me my business.

Yikes, calm down Francis. Asking you a genuine question about vehicle models that I don’t know squat about is hardly telling you your business.

my bad, i do love the maverick at the price point. But it mostly has it's price point going for it.

That is unfortunate if the hybrids are falling behind right off the bat. By falling behind I don’t mean literally as it really doesn’t mean much as could be about anything with the scheduling…just doesn’t seem like a strong start for the 23’s.

Hopefully everyone that ordered will get theirs eventually or at least a private offer for 24 at the same prices akin to the 22’s that didn’t show. I’d say me too but I’m pretty certain I’m out of the game for this year before it even started. Even post 5 Oct, dealer still insists it was ordered and will let me know when i have a vin, but just circles back to that when asking about order #, priority, even confirmation email, thus I’m pretty convinced it was never ordered. Good luck to the rest of ya though!

No it’s a new 2023 order and this is my first go at the ordering so I’m just going by what my dealer told me.
My first at ordering too I have two eb ordered one tremor one fx4 xlt. I figured my wife would end up wanting one. I figure my fx4 xlt plain would come in a lot sooner than my tremor. I have that tremor loaded down.

Got word from my dealer today that my XLT Tremor + Lux is previewing. Fingers crossed
Too bad all that likely means is that the regional reps are admiring the fantasy build you put together.

Pretty sure @fordvideoguy stated in a recent stream that a bunch of 2023 orders of his were also being previewed last week but were not any more after it was clear there was no 2023 scheduling for now.

For me, I'm not gonna spin any wheels about my order until there's actually a scheduling email for my order. Until then, it's all up in the air.

As an optimist I like to think the more it’s admired the better its chances of being selected are. It’s actually better for me if it doesn’t get picked right away because my 2015 Santa Fe Ultimate is sitting at the dealer with a blown engine waiting 6 months for the engine on order to come in. It’s backordered just like my Mav. I’d like to get that back to sell and offset the Mav.
