To be fair to you, I wrongly said I received no emails... more to the point is that I never received an update with an actual build start or notification that it was "in production". Maybe Ford changed things around again but for MY22 they were supposedly emailing you close to ( like a week out)...
I don't think you can track anything until you get the first email from Ford with an anticipated build week, as that is when they assign VINs, which are needed for tracking.
I have received no emails. But I periodically check in on order tracking and noticed yesterday my status changed to "in production" where prior it had said order confirmed. Only emails from Ford have been to indicate scheduled build week 12/19, then moved to week of 1/2, then week of 1/9.
This is not a case of deleted without notice, but instead that options and packages changed for my2023. The order guides for 2023 show the updated packages. "Assist"can still be added but requires certain other options and trims. I understand the frustration but year over year package changes...
Basing it in the reality that Ford had a large number of 2022 hybrids scheduled that they rugpulled and the majority of confirmed 2023 scheduled orders are EB.
I got the 45 day email last week as well. There is hope. Albeit slim. It does seem that EB are definitely more likely do be selected than hybrids at the moment so I suppose I had that going for me. Original 1/27/22 order which is a relatively long wait for EB as far as I can tell on this forum...
When they sent me the order sheet on 9/16 to sign and send back it said PC 19. I wrote on the form to change it to 10 but never asked if they did or heard on it. Also no idea how many rollovers they had.
Just called ford customer support for order status update. Still "in order processing" but this time they also said that it shows "compatibility issue" without being able to give context what that meant. They indicate I should check with the dealer. Dealer (salesman) has no idea what that means...
22 order banks were closed in January for EB, earlier for hybrid. The only thing you did in April was get yourself on your dealers waitlist. They put your order in 9/20. You did not have an order prior as far as Ford is concerned.
Had my rollover order entered by my dealer today and received Ford confirmation email before I had even signed the new build sheet to send back. Now the wait continues.
FWIW for the concerns about maintaining queue order, the sense I've gotten from multiple calls to Ford customer support and my...
Originally ordered XLT EB w/ Lux, CP360,Fx4 Cactus Gray on 1/27/22.
Ford confirmation email received same day. Some of the Ford thanks for waiting emails since... radio silence from dealer, other than when reaching out for updates and being told he'd get back to me (but we all know what happened...
