I have a 6 1/2' piece of aluminum 2x4 channel that my bike sits on. Little weight on the tailgate.Catalytic converter / resonator / underside protector. I know the hybrids cat is in the engine but the thieves are getting stupid.
Anything for protecting from rust. I'm up here in MN and worried about the Mav turning into a rust bucket.
All in one bed cubbie kit. Either an emergency roadside one or strap down kit. I want it to pull out nicely and be easily organized. Right now it's a lot of ziplock and rubber bands.
Rigid tailgate support (aka tailgate support bars or chain). When i load my motorcycle i don't want to rely on the straps and would prefer a rigid metal or something
How about a topper that would extend out a couple of feet so you could camp/sleep in it.an aftermarket solid bed topper that properly seals the gap between the back window and so that water won't get under the topper and rust through. This thing can turn to a rust bucket based on lack of protection from below.
Just ordered one off Amazon. Here's something I haven't seen. A tray that fits in the center console over the top of the console vault option.
Needs to be easily removable so you can get stuff in and out of the vault, but will give you space to store small/flat stuff.
I realize it would be pretty shallow, but I would buy one.
Ooh, I just thought of an idea involving a raspberry pi and a screen that size. Going to see if I can figure out how to set up an active weather radar feed using my phone's hotspot.an aftermarket 12" screen to fill that useless void
That's not what I am looking for.Just ordered one off Amazon.![]()

Not sure I understand it correctly. Do you have a picture of the item you mentioned? Do you mean adding the protection strip to prevent dings?Take it from experience - The Maverick is very very receptive to door dings. Plus, the sheet metal is so thin a moderate door ding will dent the door for 3 or 5 inches...had to use a suction cup to pull it back out......
Do this first:
Look up "Dawn Door Molding" (Ohio) protection strip, color matched to your truck....$148+tax from Amazon...would not have dings on both rear doors if I'd bought these FIRST.
