Filled up my F-150 today. Computer said 21.5 actual 19.88. Been that way since day one. The computer says I have achieved 23.0 mpg since new. Reality 21.7 mpg
A 9.43% error

I give up. lol. they are set that its more orange than yellow. Personally I like the color, I almost switched from tobasco to the yellow. If they would have called it cyber yellow no one would have questioned it.Still looks like school bus yellow

I don't care whether it's more "yellow" or more "orange" – I just love the color. That's what I'm ordering for mine. The fact that it looks slightly different in different lighting conditions is a bonus for me. It should be a lot easier to find in a crowded parking lot than my current dark gray Prius C, for sure!

True that! Fortunately, I'm somewhat (well, mostly...) past my "boy racer" phase and drive the speed limit for the most part...You might as well have some fun with it. It a really bright, noticeable color. Watch yourself around speed traps there's no sneaking past!
I was initially drawn to the Cyber Orange, but then my daughter ordered her "dream car" (a Dodge Challenger) in the "Go Mango" color (which is a much deeper orange color). I was worried that she might think I was stealing her thunder if I went with orange for my Maverick. I also read some articles about the difficulty of color-matching the Cyber Orange if you ever needed to touch anything up, or someone hit my truck...
So I tried to convince myself to order a different color. I've owned three red cars/trucks lately, and I'm kind of tired of red, so that's not an option. I looked at all the other "colors" for the Maverick. Basically, you can choose from black, gray, blue, or white - a bunch of dull, boring options. From the online pictures, the only two that I thought I could live with long term were the Area 51 and Cactus Gray. I've seen a total of four Mavericks "in the wild" now, and three of them were the Area 51 color. It's just "OK" but apparently is THE most popular color choice, and I don't want to "blend in" that much... The fourth one I saw was the Cactus Gray color, which I thought had some "cactus green" in it from the online pics. But in real life, it doesn't look like it has any green it it at all - it's just a dull, boring gray.
Which brings me full circle, back to the Cyber Orange. Hopefully, the "visibility" will reduce the odds of being in an accident, and if not, well that's why I carry excellent insurance on my vehicles!
Still, I was worried about what my daughter would think if I ordered an orange truck, so I asked her what color she thought I should get. She looked at all of them, and said "The only one I like at all is the Cyber Orange. That one is super-cool. You should order it in that color!" I said, "But won't that seem like I'm just copying you?" Her response was "Dad, those two colors are NOTHING like each other. And besides, my Challenger is WAY cooler than any truck could possibly be, but if you get your Maverick in Cyber Orange it will at least be 'somewhat' cool..." LOL
So Cyber Orange it is. Or will be - once the order window opens and I can place my 2023 order! Cyber Orange Lariat Lux/360 here we come!
