I agree. I’ll do that on my next one. I’m selling this one.No doubt that steelies can look good with the proper tire on it. Throw some KO2s and those steelies will look solid!

Interesting…I would mask off and paint the 3 hole sets in black (Just the area between them) times 5. Then you will have the look similar to the Chevy Rally wheels. pinstripe contrasting color around if you'd Like. See crude job below for the general idea.

Here's another way to paint the wheels to make them not look like steelies from a distance. These look more like 70's turbine wheels. (again sorry for the crude rendering)Interesting…
Wow, I would’ve never thought of that. Here's another way to paint the wheels to make them not look like steelies from a distance. These look more like 70's turbine wheels. (again sorry for the crude rendering)

Thinking outside of the box!Wow, I would’ve never thought of that.
I would make so many errors trying to do that.Wow, I would’ve never thought of that.
Just need the correct width Making tape. I would leave the edge silver though.I would make so many errors trying to do that.
My compliments to the ones able to pull that off!
while I like the grenadine wheel my worry would be that it would look small because of the black lip.they look nice but are a $1000 for a set…

Steel wheels only way to go. Chunck into a pot hole with alluminum and there goes the rim. Steel just hammer it back and inflate. I'd go with chrome moon caps but no tabs to lock them on.
Did you remove the center caps to put the wheel covers on?Steel wheels only way to go. Chunck into a pot hole with alluminum and there goes the rim. Steel just hammer it back and inflate. I'd go with chrome moon caps but no tabs to lock them on.
What is the issue with the offset? Rubbing or brake caliper clearance?I bought these Escape wheels with with 245/70R17... I like 'em, but the offset as it is will not work
