Starting a thread to track 2023 orders to share best dealerships/deals out there... ie. if Granger or someone like them do a MSRP minus $X it would be great to know.

Getting ahead of order banks opening in hopes of finding people the best deals once they do.

The, "Any Uplifting Dealer Experiences", thread has 98 replies and remains my go to source of lengthy tributes to the best. The big three have extensive followers and threads dedicated to their transactions.

Bill Knight Ford of Tulsa is a great dealership. They never charge over msrp on the Mavericks you order. Also, the people there are super nice and easy to work with.

Who are the 'big 3'? Sounds like those are individual threads that people have to follow and not a single repository/source of truth like this could be.

The hope was this thread would be a place for people to post if a dealer offers an amazing deal and not just matching MSRP or something like that.

I'm going to guess Granger Ford in Iowa, Long McArthur in Kansas, and Chapman in Pennsylvania.
You joined in January and I in September. Those are the three I've read the most about on this site. All have multiple hundreds of satisfied customers. A search revealed multiple mega threads on each.

for people that live outside of few hour drive from theses places does the math ever work out on the savings below MSRP (which seems pretty easy to get if you are ordering)? I've got a few Ford dealers all within about a 15 minute drive and gas/time is expensive.

I think 10 hour drive or less I can make it work. I have tons of airline and hotel points from work travel, so I could fly and stay one night no problem. Go in late one day, stay one night, do paperwork first thing next morning, hit the road... So for $2500-3k savings it makes sense.

But multiple days driving, multiple nights in hotel, etc. You start to lose the benefit when you can't do the drive in one day.

Edit - distance dealer from major airport is a factor as well. Long McArthur is about 10 hours from me, but in the middle of nowhere. Getting to there from an airport would be a PITA.

The other factor would be taking delivery in PA or wherever we are talking about. I'm not sure how other states work but I'm in NH. So if I were to buy a vehicle from MA for instance I'd work it out so I'd take delivery of the vehicle in NH to avoid paying MA taxes/fees.

Van Bortel Ford in East Rochester NY does Ford Invoice pricing, which was $1000 under MSRP for mine.
They know all the stuff that Tim always talks about, and no games.
Ask for Paul Bowers. Feel free to tell him Mark B sent you.

hmmm... Rochester is far enough from the NH border that I don't think they'd be likely to meet me anywhere in NH to take delivery. Not sure what the tax implications would be when I bought it. I'm sure the family wouldn't mind heading out there though, maybe hit up Buffalo/Niagra Falls or something.

My guess if that you would have to pay for shipping, if you want it shipped. I would think taxes are based on where the vehicle gets registered. I say that because, in the past, counties had different tax rates in NY, and I got charged the rate for the county I lived in. Not sure how tax is handled for out of state.
