I think of the steelies like the Chevy SS rally wheels, of all the aftermarket wheels people put on their classic Chevy’s nothing looks better then the rally wheels

I vote for the black ring of vent holes only. The plain steelies are too plain, and the double black "rings" are too busy

Not partial to the double black but I do like the central hub blacked out, I'd go with a contrasting white instead of bare steel but I'd also like to see what your double black looks like in motion, probably pretty cool

I know it would be expensive but I think they would look good chrome. But a less expensive option to put beauty rings on like the rally's on GM's older pickup wheels.

Can Steelies actually look good?

Yes, I really do like the look of Steelies - but will be customizing mine a bit to match my Iconic Silver build.
I am planning to paint mine a flat black with chrome lugs and adding a ford logo center insert.

If I ever get my truck , going with rattle can black rustoleum bedliner . I like the look and texture of this stuff .

Admit to not getting the put downs of the steelies.

Happen to think they look great as is -- rugged and snappy.

(Incidentally, Tim B. mentioned there will be an XL option for '23 to replace them with a more conventional appearing aluminum wheel.)

Leave them alone until you can replace them.

Shouldnt be hard to find some other maverick or BS takeoffs if money is an issue.

If police car explorer or crown vic center caps would fit on a maverick bolt pattern that'd look cool with the wheels painted black.
