Headliner just pulls down in the back or?Replaced my 3rd with this one. Install isn't bad but you do need to pull the headliner.
Popped the tabs from the 3rd brake opening and then it pulled down. A bit tricky but not too bad.Headliner just pulls down in the back or?
The third light stands out too much against my Alto Blue... I am looking for something darker or I might try tinting what I have.I do not like the look of chrome at all and the OEM 3rd brake light has bugged me since day one. I like the black accents as I feel they compliment the cactus gray well. Not sure if I dig this light though. Thoughts?
Here’s the light. Not sure about output as I put it on 20 minutes ago in broad daylight.

Hey, so I purchased this same light and tried to install it this past weekend, how did you get the cable to out to the point where you can unplug it? I couldn't get mine out, I even popped the two tabs and pulled the headliner down slightly and it wasn't budging. Any tips on this?I do not like the look of chrome at all and the OEM 3rd brake light has bugged me since day one. I like the black accents as I feel they compliment the cactus gray well. I have the same light. I ended up in the same situation and just snapped the zip tie or plastic clamp (forget which) holding it. That game me the extra length to just barely plug the light in. It was not a pleasant experience. You have to pull the roof liner quite a bit down to have enough room to get your arm/hand in the right position to plug it in. Like maybe a third of the way into the back seat.Hey, so I purchased this same light and tried to install it this past weekend, how did you get the cable to out to the point where you can unplug it? Yikes, that doesn't sound pleasant. I might have to rethink this.I have the same light. I ended up in the same situation and just snapped the zip tie or plastic clamp (forget which) holding it. Purchased the same attempted to change & did not see connector on truck, just saw wires connected directly to oem light. Is there a connector on truck that I'm missing?
