Morimoto 3rd Brake Light

Just noticed that Morimoto silently put the XB3 third brake light on their site. I just ordered one. Can't wait to install it.

Ouch!!!! $200 bucks? I suddenly like the one that came with the truck a lot better.

It looks nice though.

Justin.23 used the X3B that was listed for F150. Looks about the same.

Thursday I received the third brake light assembly along with the flasher module. Wow what a solid piece. Attempted to install and during removal one of the 4 screws just spun. Finally removed it by putting pressure on the light assembly. After further inspection, it was over torqued at the factory. The nylon nut just spun in the square hole.
Installation didn’t happen. The other nylon nuts were damaged and couldn’t use them. I ordered some from my local Ford dealership. But I found a solution once I got into work this morning. I went to my parts bin (I work for BMW) and couldn’t find anything that really worked. Went to a technician, and found some of these pictured below.
Way better solution than the nylon/plastic nuts. Will keep you all posted. Truck is currently just sitting in the garage with no third brake light.
