What number do you call to check your order with them?Had my weekly chat with my friends at Ford Motor Company and I'm still unscheduled.
Let's see what happens next week. But I'm increasingly resigned to getting a private offer and a 2023. On the bright side that would mean that Instead of a Velocity Blue 2022 I may end up with an Eruption Green 2023.
1-800-334-4375. You will need your sales code and order code. What number do you call to check your order with them?
5-6 weeks should be plenty conservative for delivery. I've tried to track a few of the deliveries at my dealer in Los Angeles. The time from the official build date on the Ford tracker to when they show up on the lot seems to be more like 3-4 weeks. My hope is that if it takes roughly 1 month for delivery...perhaps by early October I will be driving my truck. Any thoughts on those expectations? 5-6 weeks to make it to Southern California - seems reasonable....perhaps?
I was actually informed that the eta given at the time of build, Is for the completion of the build. Once built, then we get the shipping/arrival eta from what they told me.Hello all - I am an October 2021 order (10/22/2021) and I have a VIN ending in 944xx.
Hybrid XLT - Alto Blue - pretty basic build (sliding window, lumens lighting in bed, full size spare, power outlet in backseat console). I removed my SIBL, trailer hitch and bed extender back in March as I was desperate to get a build.
Nobody from my dealership or Ford reached out since placing the order almost 9 months ago. Other than the confirmation email on the day I made the purchase, I had notheard anything substantial at all in over 9 months.
The good news -
I went directly to Ford Customer Service about 1 week ago and learned that I DID in fact have a VIN number and a scheduled build week of 8/08/2022 and ETA the week of 8/18-8/24. I asked the Rep and she explained that the ETA is basically their way of saying the truck is ready to be shipped on a railcar to California. My hope is that if it takes roughly 1 month for delivery...perhaps by early October I will be driving my truck. Judging my "scheduled" production week of August 8th, I assume I was 'scheduled' back in mid-June. I went back through old threads and found the 8/08 production week email from around 6/17 (I could be off by a few days)
Me too-- super frustrating. I don't get it. There's nothing on our builds that should be pushing them back.Yep, I called the chat line and I have been moved to week of 8/8 as well. That is fantastic!! They may never get these suckers built.
Its freakin frustrating. I've had a VIN for 4 months now and it's like they aren't building hybrids right now. I've seen people getting build dates with VIN over 100,000 now. I am 82559 how they gonna build all those as MY 2022 if they are 20,000 higher than me?Me too-- super frustrating. I don't get it. There's nothing on our builds that should be pushing them back.
My only warning would be to be prepared to have that build week moved. Quite a few of us October orders have been pushed back almost two months and counting now...Hello all - I am an October 2021 order (10/22/2021) and I have a VIN ending in 944xx.

Yep--I think it's problems with hybrids, or availability of parts for hybrids. @Ford Motor Company do you guys have any info? Its freakin frustrating. I've had a VIN for 4 months now and it's like they aren't building hybrids right now. I've seen people getting build dates with VIN over 100,000 now. Mine is a 10/22/21 Hybrid XL, CP360, priority code 2 with no VIN and FCS tells me it's a 99% chance of getting pushed to a 23 model.Got my VIN in April and still keep getting bumped and bumped .......build was to be early June two build to the day later now bumped to week of August 8......this is ridiculous.......just think if they did not have the two week shutdown to stock up on parts as they fixed plant how bad it would be . ....... have a VIN of 82xxx
