Having experienced tri-coats in the past, I wanted a tri-coat paint job. Nothing beats the depth and durability of it. It just so happens that the only tri-coat for this car is the Cyber Orange. But it is very orange in some lights and yellowish in others. Fine by me.
Had the same issue with my Grabber Orange mustang. People would ask stupidly, "Is that yellow?"

No I have to decide if I want my Velocity Blue order to magically schedule right before the end of 2022 production or if I would prefer to change to a different color for 2023. I suppose I will let the scheduling Gods decide...

What about interior colors? Has anyone heard updates on that. Sure would like to see just good ole black or dark charcoal interior color. If 2024's come out with that, I will be trading off the 2022 for a 2024.

The Atlas Blue I could care less about. However, I am interested to see what Avalanche Grey is all about. I wonder if that was the color featured on the spy photos of the Maverick Tremor recently. Judging by the photos, it looked too much like Cactus Grey to me. Whatever the case, I'm curious. On a side note, Ford really should offer a Desert Khaki color like on its competitor, the Santa Cruz.

I like the Atlas blue better than velocity blue which I think was too light. It sucks that another Gray was added. Eruption Green would've been nice! Of these I will probably still go with orange, but Atlas is close.

I love my Cyber Orange Maverick, but I think I'll be ordering a My23 in Alto Blue Metallic Tinted Clearcoat.

Alto Blue is practically black in most lighting.

I am so glad they didn't add Rapid Red to the lineup. Makes my Rapid Red 1st Edition even more exclusive and adds to the value.
And here I am pissed they took away a red. Hot Pepper Red looks too orange in a lot of lighting for me (after seeing it in person) and I was prepared to place an order for rapid red if they made that available for MY23.

What I really want though is race red. I think the Maverick looks great in it and was the colour of my 09 F150 that died on me in January.

Ford Maverick 2023 Maverick New Colors: Atlas Blue, Avalanche Gray 2022-Ford-Maverick-Race-Red-Wrap-Exterior-001-Front-Three-Quarters

Will likely end up going with Atlas blue for my MY23 order, but will trade it in immediately if race red becomes an option in future years.

Op said it was found on the Ford Website.
Yep, this is from Ford's website for dealers. Took me forever to remember where to find it again ... but they do have colors listed for most 23 vehicles, even though the order guides haven't been released yet.

I believe that “Tremor” is in fact Avalanche Gray. No green hints you usually see with the cactus.

22MY Maverick Colors

Shadow Black
Oxford White
Alto Blue (Tinted Clear Coat Metallic) | $390
Area 51
Cactus Gray
Carbonized Gray
Cyber Orange (Tri-Coat Metallic) | $495
Hot Pepper Red (Tinted Clear Coat Metallic) | $390
Iconic Silver
Velocity Blue

Removed from MY23: Velocity Blue

Added to MY23: Avalanche Grey, Atlas Blue Metallic

It sucks big time that Velocity Blue was removed but Eruption Green was not added.

I love my Velocity Blue Maverick and a lot of others have stated they also love the color.

I am ordering a MY23 because I need the missing hitch and Carvana is offering me $8500+ over my total out-the-door cost. Maybe Carvana's offer will even go up now that a Velocity Blue Maverick is no longer available.

My two choices is to go with either Hot Pepper Red even though it will cost more as it matches my previous 1998 Ford Ranger that was Toreador Red Clearcoat Metallic or switch to Atlas Blue Metallic as it looks to be just a slightly darker version of Velocity Blue.

All the other colors are too dark or bland and no I am not going to choose School Bus Yellow.

There was a "Rapid Red" in the 2022 options as well. Believe this was a later in the model year add. Was available on Lariat trim only and required Luxury, Ford360 and First Edition packages.

To each his own but I can't understand why anybody would want velocity blue. I thought it just looked very Lego'ish.
I mean, I'm 38 and enjoy Legos as much as any uncle does. I just like bright bold colors. I grew up reading car magazines and going to car show and races. Colors were, bold, eye catching. I want to see my vehicle from acroos the lot. I dont care about hiding my stuff or anonymity in a crowd. Im a 6ft 290lb balding, long haired, un-scaped 17 year old bearded redhead. I like a vehicle that matches my exterior and that is the exterior of someone who looks like they were a tour bus driver for Creedence Clearwater Revival in 72'. My velocity blue or "Atlas shrugging" blue Maverick will be getting a topper, and colored wrap around stripes on it and the cap. It will look awesome on the AMC Eagle wagon I am currently painting that will have a color scheme similar to T.C.s Island Hoppers helicopter from Magnum P.I.

By the way my dad used to tell he about his 1960 chevy convertible that he had in the late 60s. He jacked up the springs, used multiple colors of paint to give it a spreckle coating and put a tonnoau cover he made out of a trailer awning for the cabin in the winter. He couldnt afford a whole top.
Sounded like an awesome build to me.
