I found a 2021 Escape at my local junkers. They have the same dash panel/firewall with this hole/cutout, but the escape runs a wiring harness through there, so no plug unfortunately. Not certain about the bronco, but it does appear to be the same firewall panel as the Maverick.
I suppose this will likely be the final update to this thread.
I've now visited 3 dealerships, and all tell me that the part doesn't exist in any of their parts diagrams. The last parts advisor I spoke to suggested reaching out to Ford Corporate. I just finished speaking with them, and they say...
Hmmm, you may be right there.... I thought that HP5 looked a little more round than it should (the actual grommet/plug is more of a slot shape than a round hole).
Slight update, I managed to come across South Lake Ford's parts website, and it seems to have fairly detailed parts diagrams for the Maverick.
A little further digging led me to this diagram, which I think might show the plug/grommet I'm looking for as HP5:
I've gone ahead and ordered a set...
Hey guys, I decided this weekend to start running the power wires for my new sub from the battery, through the firewall and back to the rear passenger seat.
Of course though, what should have been an easy job almost instantly turned into a major PITA. I for some reason thought it would be a...
I've been taking my time tackling the project, but these are the wiring diagrams I'm working from for installing heated seats in my Lariat without lux package.

So I've got this kicking around... definitely gonna need to see some more details! Even just a tear down video of what you've already done would be amazingly helpful! 🤞
Speaking of peanuts! This guy on YouTube talks about vibrations in the door.
His fix was some foam packing peanuts to stop parts of the door from rattling. Been meaning to give it a try on mine as I get some decent rattling at higher volumes with my aftermarket speakers.
Managed to pickup a set of those Infinity's at auction last week for $50 CAD (about $40 USD). Hopefully gonna be installing them tomorrow. Very excited to hear how they sound!
Finally heard back from Krown Corporate regarding my engine light and Ford's diagnosis.
Krown has informed me that they are "sorry to hear about my experience with my local Ford dealerships". They claim that my dealer cut corners when diagnosing the cause of my engine light coming on, and that...
Small update, I took the maverick to another Ford dealer on the other side of town as recommended by the Krown location (claimed the 1st dealer regularly tries to pawn this issue off to Krown and not cover it under warranty). Funnily enough, after speaking with the service manager at dealer #2...
I've been quoted $35 for the sensor and $225 for labour, plus taxes. So $295 when it's all said and done. (it's worth noting that these are in Canadian dollars).
This is my plan right now too. I don't actually disagree with the dealership regarding this not being covered under warranty...
Hate to bring back an older topic/post here, but just got my maverick back from the dealer after my engine light came on.
Before taking it in, I ran the codes myself to find a P0496 and P0451 code. Dealer just gave it back saying the cause of the codes is a bad fuel pressure sensor (Parts on...
Definitely an extremely easy change (part geometry stays the same, just some different text and holes), and something I could see a supplier happily doing if it meant pretty much guaranteeing volume sales through a company as large as Ford.
Fairly certain this is Ford just reselling the Keko Sports Bar that initially came out for the Brazil market, and became available in North America on the Keko site sometime last year.

Looks to only be compatible with their (Keko's) tonneau...
