When I called the Ford Customer Service last week I was told they would email out offers starting on 8/1 but Tim Bartz said they will still be scheduling until 8/18 so after that makes more sense.
previously he alluded to a mass communication for end of July-August 1 that would tell people if they were getting built as a MY22 or not. So special offers starting August 1 seems to align with people NOT making the cut for a MY22 build.

I'm pretty sure the financing available when you ordered will be honored if you go with Ford Financing.
The only way it will be offered is if they can tie it to the private offer. The incentives are based on order date. Since we will have to put a new order in for 2023, those 2022 rates go away. Unless they can tie them to the private offer somehow. It seems like Ford can easily do it, but will they do it we don't know.

The special offer is regional...I know for a fact in the Southwest Ohio region, you will pay 2023 prices for your Mav, but you do get a $100 gift certificate to your choice of White Castle or Skyline Chili. Yum! Thanks Ford!
Don't worry about the calories on these meals...you won't be holding onto it for long! :poop:
I can’t believe there is anyone who goes to a White Castle a second time. If you are having any internal “issues”, just buy a bottle of laxative.

All depends on the state of mind.

You go the second time because you forgot you went the first time, man. 🥴

I'm in Florida but have family in Ohio. Every time I visit up there, I have to stop at a White Castle. We have Krystals here, but for some reason White Castle tastes better. They also have fried clam strips up there.

We got the world's largest one here in Orlando last year and there was a 5-6 hour line when it opened. Some people just love them. I wish we also had Jack in the Box here. Maybe I just like trash.

That is how it is supposed to work.

On this topic in general, if Ford has said that carry-over orders will receive a special offer, I'm not sure why there are complaints about it? It will obviously be more than price protection (which should be a given). If Ford's 'offer' would simply be price protection, they would have stated that. Special offer implies that at minimum they will offer an additional incentive for keeping your order for 2023. Everyone will know soon enough, so why complain about it before we even know what it is?
Who is complaining about the offer. The irritation is the lack of details in their communications. "Hey order a new truck and we have a mystery surprise". As someone in the service business take my word for it....this is bad.

I recently got a VIN and a build date from Ford Chat....still no email from Ford, though. The communication is nil. You get scheduled, which should be a victory lap for Ford after all the waiting, and they miss the opportunity to give you the news via email as expected. There isn't even enough communication to take credit when something does go right.

Krystals don't have the steamed bun. That's what takes it to the next level...not even having to chew. Just bolt 'em down. Slides out the other side just as easy. A true slider, soup to nuts.

Apologies to OP for derailing this into a White Castle thread.

I love White Castle can eat 10 of those things.

Wanted to try Krystal when we were in SC recently. I think they are bankrupt and closed alot of locations.

So, if we don't know what the private offer will be at the time we place the order, how will we be able to get a "double-signed" Buyer's Order at the time we place the order??? This seems double-bad: not only is Ford saying "trust us" (and we know how trustworthy they have been), we also have to "trust" the dealership. aaaaugh. My situation is even worse since my current dealler has already said they will no longer honor their MY22 deal and basically told me to go find a new dealer. If I loose my place in line (October 1, 2021), that will just be pouring salt on the wound.

I got my VIN & Build date from my dealer rep last week. Today I called Ford Customer Service and asked for a status on my truck. They confirmed I have a VIN, Build date AND gave me an "ETA" date as well? Had not heard of that before from a CSR- but it's about 2 weeks after my build date so I expect it is way off...lol

The other thing was she asked if I got an email notifying me of the build date. I said, nope only my confirmation email after ordering and I think 2 emails warning about delays due to constraints and options on that. She said let me check something... and it turns out the main page of my account has my correct email address in a box plainly visible, but when she would change screens to look for other info on my order the email box would be empty- so she entered it manually and saved it. Said a lot of people weren't receiving emails because the email box was only filled on main page and it's required to add it elsewhere. Now recently I saw a reference to lack of emails from Ford if your dealer doesn't know there is more than 1 location they need to fill in your email, and I wonder if that was the case for me too?

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a simple fix for someone who knows what's broken lol
