Maybe I missed it but do we have any clue about this “Special private offer” for the 2022 orders that are being moved to 2023?

What will it be and when will we hear from Ford?

I will be traveling during August 2 and want to get my ducks in a row with my dealer.

Thanks!

You're not going to know about that until probably 8/2.

MAYBE it's a one time take it or leave it special offer that pops up the first time the dealer signs in with your 2022 order# 😭😭😭
I am sticking around to see how this debacle unfolds. I have understood the supply chain issues and have realistic expectations regarding delays.

However the poor cryptic communications is a service issue that is within Fords control.

Per Tim's video, we probably won't know what the offer is until at least 8/18 because that's when they finish scheduling the 22s. If you get scheduled for 22 after you put the 23 order in, the 23 order is cancelled and the private offer goes away because you get your 22 pricing.

They are most likely having to wait for the bean counters to approve the 334th proposal of "the special offer".

Thanks….

Seems idiotic but thanks for the info.
Per other rants Ford really screwed up with their communications.
Tim’s videos are great but how about hearing something from Ford besides “thanks for your order…stay tuned”

The special offer is regional...I know for a fact in the Southwest Ohio region, you will pay 2023 prices for your Mav, but you do get a $100 gift certificate to your choice of White Castle or Skyline Chili. Yum! Thanks Ford!
Don't worry about the calories on these meals...you won't be holding onto it for long! :poop:

Yeah I agree. I don't even think I have seen anything from Ford officially about 8/2 being when Order Banks open. Yeah there are the internal emails and what Ford Authority reports, but I don't think Ford has ever sent out an email to the public saying " 2023 Ford Maverick Order Banks open on 8/2"

Actually, my guess is we won't actually know until Aug. 18, or sometime shortly after. Because that is when Ford is doing the final MY22 scheduling. So, Ford won't even know until then exactly which customers are officially pushed to MY23.

It would be strange if Ford gave everyone unscheduled as of Aug. 2 a private offer, but then a bunch of those people got scheduled sometime between Aug. 2 and Aug. 18. What then?

So, like @fordvideoguy said, if you don't have a VIN and a build week on Aug. 2, place a MY23 order. You can always cancel it if you get scheduled later in the month. And you can always have your dealer apply your special offer in VINCENT once it shows up later in the month. But you don't want to wait two weeks.
