there is always a chance something could slip in via cleanup, a cancellation etc. You know your source, so I expect you trust him/her and likely for good reason. But, I expect it is the exception that proves the rule.

Customer X orders a Green Maverick on June 1st
Customer Y orders a purple Maverick August 15th
They’re BOTH told arrival in
fall and no idea of when.

August 16th Ford gets a trainload of purple paint but the green paint is back ordered. They build the purple one. Did they screw the guy who ordered a green one??? He keeps saying: “I ordered mine 6 weeks before he ordered that purple one!!”

People don't understand this, they think Ford should shut down and wait until the Green paint arrives.

I placed the third order with my dealer. None have been scheduled. But they did get a stock order built. So that conflicts with your data.

Not trying to argue, just wanted to know if you had more info.
My dealer keeps telling me they will let me know when they get some in stock so I can come look at them in person. Pretty sure they don't realize I'll get my truck before they get any of theirs.
