Dealer said that i am scheduled for the week of Sept 5th. We shall see what happens. I still have yet to get my email so I will have to reach out to Ford customer service again and see if they may have my VIN!

I figure the first - second week of Oct. before I see mine at the dealership, that with it being scheduled to be built week of 8/22.CO Hybrid Lariat placed 10/05/2021, confirmation 10/07/2021. I visited the dealer and asked for my VIN - THEY GAVE IT TO ME!! Next, I chatted with Ford online and found out the VIN (91xxxx) I was given DOES in-fact belong to my order (yay!) and is scheduled to be built the week of 08/27/22 and estimated dealer arrival 09/17/22-09/23/22 (we'll see about that). SO, not a 2023, but I will be ordering another Aug 2 anyway. With all of that said, I am not letting myself get excited as I know that realistically it will be an October/November dealer delivery.
I believe production is shut down this week and next for scheduled maintenance. Could be that they started your build last week and it will be finished the week of July 25th when they restart. Sorry you got stuck in the middle.Ordered 10/6, build date 6/28, 7/8 and 7/4? Found the window sticker on July 8. Tracking continues to say " in Production".
Just got this message :
"Dear Lu Ann,
We understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Just wanted to give you an update on the status of your Maverick XL order. While production of your vehicle was projected to begin the week of July 4, 2022, supply chain challenges continue to cause delays and uncertainty.
This is frustrating, we get it. We want nothing more than to get your Ford up on the line and start assembling it. And we will continue to work hard to reduce the delays to try to get you on the road in your new vehicle soon.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we get more information, at least once every 45 days. Hang in there. We really do appreciate your patience and understanding."
Have others had theirs in production and then stopped? I was told by a customer service person that they would not start a build unless they had all the parts. We knew that dropping copilot or hitch or moonroof might help but we prefer what we ordered.
Any insight on this situation is appreciated.
I'm an Oklahoma October order, and I've been at a priority code 2 for about a month.Dropped the constraints from my order last week, but still unscheduled and my priority code is still a 10 (which appears to be the case for all orders in TX/OK/LA)
That's good news for your order, I guess I should have said some or most (?) orders. Not sure why the regional representatives aren't bumping more orders to 2I'm an Oklahoma October order, and I've been at a priority code 2 for about a month.
Yeah my dealer told me they figure they’re getting 3 more this year, guys with VINs, so I’ll be 2023. Not official yet. XL,360, floor mats, hitch,I called dealer to drop splash guards a week ago. He told me it doesn’t matter, mine will be a ‘23 and when it’s time to reorder In August I can add/drop whatever. I guess I will be joining the one year+ club. Won’t be seeing the Mav until Nov probably.
