Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

How might I go about getting a replacement harness that powers the overhead lights?
I connected everything and the mirror worked great, but on the road ACC disabled itself saying there was an object blocking a sensor. I checked; nothing was blocked. Then with Forscan I saw an error showing that ACC was reporting low voltage. So, I am at the point where I would like to get that back to stock and just hardwire the mirror into the fuse panel. Wasn't sure if anyone had any leads for that dome light plug. Thanks in advance.

there could be a possibility that a wire or a portion of a cable is partially blocking some of the optics when everything was stuffed back and secured?

BTW, one can also get a smaller version of this tool kit to remove door panels from Harbor Freight.

Yes, but the kit I bought has many different sizes.

I had wondered that, but seeing the low voltage error shifted my focus.

Absolutely! And it has a case. I had the same kit that you referenced. I just wanted to alert members to a less expensive alternative, albeit, far fewer tools.

Hello All. Just read all comments on this topic and seems like some or almost all are tapping power/switched power at dome light area but seems like most have a sunroof. I have an XLT without the sunroof. Can I still tap of the dome light area for the mirror? Thanks all for your help. Love all the helpful comments from everyone. Great forum!!!!

Has anyone actually installed this mirror? It was my understanding that the design of the camera unit in the windshield was going to be an issue for any auto-dimming mirror.

Also the price on the unit is now $11. I bought one as well. Can't beat it, and can resell even if it doesn't work on the Maverick.

I installed that mirror on a Kia Telluride EX.
