Hey, Maverick Truck Club members! I am already a member of Ford Maverick Forum but joined you also because of his videos and just to try and get more knowledge about what is going on with orders!
Wife and I live near Indianapolis and we ordered a White XLT FWD Ecoboost with no bells or whistles on Dec 3. Still nothing from Ford.
Anyway, now I will have to converse on two forums!
That's if for now!

What exactly makes you think you will get first dibs on a 2023 Maverick? I’ve been reading this forum for months and numerous people believe that but no one can point to a source. Ford has proven repeatedly that they have no process to fix the current problem and I believe it will unfortunately extend into future model years.

Welcome to the craziness. I've got to believe you stand a pretty good chance of getting your truck sooner than later just because it's a XLT FWD Eco, doesn't sound too constrained.

Thanks. That is what I am doing, but it seems, based on what the dealership tells me, they are coming in according to order dates, and there are still three ahead of me.
I wonder if it would not have been best to go to a tiny dealer where I was the only MY order and maybe I would have got it fast!

If you don’t mind my asking who did you order your Mav from? I got mine back in mid-March from Andy Mohr in Plainfield after the original customer declined the order. Loving it so far!

Hubler in Shelbyville. Ordered Dec 3 and they said I was order number 12. I think that is the delay. According to the sales manager they seem to be coming in fairly sequentially, and I still have 3 or 4 before me.

Hopefully you have found your dealership trustworthy to this point? I live in a small rural town in SW Colorado with 1 Ford dealer. Bought from them before and trust them to a large degree. I was the 1st (and only) person asking them about everything regarding Maverick- before Ford finally admitted it was a real product to be manufactured. It seems they have had less than 10 actual orders including mine- and none they sold are even local to our town. I didn't deliberately choose a smaller dealer for any reason other than they are nearby and I bought there before and was treated fairly. Being able to drop in rather than call, text, email is a bonus for me.

I actually test drove the 1st one they received back in October 2021- customer refused delivery. I waited until Dec 15th to custom order mine. I check in with them about every 2 weeks for updates. I have been Priority 2 approved to select for scheduling since April 8th. As of right now dealer has 3 in the system, with 1 that just went into production, ordered early November. Supposedly that puts me next up in the queue by order date. All good right? Maybe! The hold up the last couple months has been NO allocations. They get another monthly update next week so anything can happen. I'm still pretty confident mine will get built by end of MY2022 production October 21st, but really we won't know anything firm until that official Ford notification of who gets built or bumped around August 1st.

Time will tell

Hey just seeing yall are waiting awhile before getting your trucks. I ordered mine On Jan 6th I believe and received it April 23rd or something like that. Was a base model XL with towpackage and full spare and the inverter for the back. The more you add on to it the longer it takes to be built especially if you got a hybrid. They ran out of the batteries in Jan this year also right before I was going to order mine.

WOW! 3.5 months! Did you order from a dealership that had very few orders? I ask because I ordered December 3 and there were 12 in front of me so am wondering if they build them sequentially per dealer.

It was from Griffith ford in San Marcos so I really don’t know I just did it and got it it felt so long but I’m happy to have it now.
