[UPDATE 3/22/22] Dead Hybrid Maverick at 1 month old after getting "Deep Sleep Mode" messages. [Possibly fixed by software update.]

I got the "Your vehicle has been built" email on December 17th.

You should be able to see your actual build date on the manufacturer's sticker located on your driver's side door jamb. Mind was actually built in September even though it was different than my email notification.

That also says 12/21 but doesn't have an exact date.

Update: Service was intrigued and got it worked into the shop. It's in a bay now and they're going to get back on it in the morning.

They had a high ohm reading from the battery in the back to the jump point indicating a poor connection somewhere. I want to say 70ohms? They said it should be around 0.5ohms. They also got me a rental!

Nice, glad to hear they got you a rental. What did you get? A ford loaner or enterprise sh!tbox? I got an Ecosport the first time.

It's a brand new escape ford rental, which feels so similar to the maverick on the inside! Technically it's costing me $30 a day but they said it would be refunded if it was a warranty repair. At this point I don't care what it costs, I just couldn't wait 3 months for an appointment...

The harness with the tan latch in the center of your photo? Interestingly enough I noticed that mine is held together with a white zip tie that I don't see on yours. It looked odd enough to where it looked like a repair not by design. Anyone else have a zip tie there? I'll get pictures when I get my truck back.

Dealer called and left a voicemail saying they found the loose connection that was causing the issue. I'll poke more when I pick it up this evening, but hopefully this is all buttoned up!

Awesome, try to find out if the previous pic was where the loose connection was, if not, ask them where.

I believe mine was at the battery but they said nothing was wrong. I had the loose wrap like in the picture a few pages back.

Lengthy update....

@KeinoDoggy Man I was really hoping everything was sorted out and fixed, but I am once again a member of the dead maverick club. However, I have learned a lot.

The guys at the service department really tried to help and unfortunately their fix didn't hold. I have done some investigating in the driveway and have narrowed it down to this cable (directly behind the one you pointed out). When I pull up on it, all of the relays click and I get 12V, when I relax pressure, everything dies.

I probably shouldn't disassemble anything past what I already have, unless there is an easy fix?

This is pretty large wire, so is that connector soldered on? It looks to me like it is almost pulling out of the connector end (See second photo).

Trying to get their service department to reply to my email and get it back in soon! Fingers crossed...

And sure seems it's happening more and more. Imagine how many others it's happening to that don't go online and post stuff. This issue is big and needs to be fixed by Ford asap....
