Lariat 2.0l tow package, but not AWD.
Could I get some advice on if I'd be able to tow a pair of jet skis and also be able to put them in and out of the water at a boat ramp?

thanks

Non AWD Mavericks do not come with the tow package. You have the hitch which means your towing capacity is limited to 2K pounds.

Depending on the grade of the ramp getting up out of the water will be difficult with FWD only.

I would think yes, but would be more concerned with the ramp type

I gotta give credit were credit is due. Good for you and your gf for towing right on the limit for a non tow package equipped Maverick.

Should be no problem putting them into the water maybe even along with the maverick. On the serious side of your question I would not expect much problem with hybrid as the weight on the fwd tires would be better than rear wheel drive.

We have a Nitro bass boat 17 ft long 1700 lbs including trailer and our Maverick Hybrid launched and took out the boat no problem. Of course the ramp makes a big difference but that should go without saying. The ramp I was using has a drop off into the mud so pulling it out was the only concern but the Mav had no issues and plenty of torque to pull it out. It did it easy.

gf and I bought a 2007 sugar sand tengo

driving in tow mode it was averaging 14.7mpg

in/out of boat ramp was easy in in Low
I don't know the difference in weight between a pair of jet skis and the boat shown here, but glad to hear you had no trouble. I do know that some river ramps are not maintained very well and have a lot of moss build-up and can be slippery. I'd be interested to know how the Maverick would do in that circumstance, however, I'm not advocating you being the guinea pig for that. Happy & safe motoring and boating! Enjoy yourselves!
