About 4k miles on it. All the plastics looked like this. Figured I would take a picture to show how bad it was this last weekend during my detail day.

Chemical guys tire and trim gelwhich product did you use?
Wow that's worse than I figured I was gonna see. I live up in Maine where they paint the roads in Salt so thick that your car will rust out in a matter of a few years so mine get washed frequently (also got military grade undercoating and protectant from Line-X) but I have had it for 7 months now and haven't experienced the fading but after seeing some of these I may throw some extra protectant on the plastics too![]()

Let me know how it goes. The Cerakote ceramic should outlast the turtle ceramic spray by a long time. The turtle wax is easy to use and all, but in my experience, it doesn’t last very long. The plastic outlast the metal? I got some spray turtle ceramic spray and the ceracote, recommendations from here, I will try both and determine which one I like. I was kinda disappointed that the ceracote was just some wipes?
After a lot of YouTube comparisons. I purchased some Cerakote and used it on our Ford van at work. Initially, I too was disappointed they were wipes, but they were well saturated and the application went on good. This was about a month ago. I think it has held up well. If it really last for 200 washes then the work van should be good for the next 20 yearsI was kinda disappointed that the ceracote was just some wipes?
