Endorse the Magic Eraser, but simple sponge and dish soap followed by sponging on Meguiar's Ultimate Black or Wolfgang Concurs Trim Sealant also works.

After hand washing the Maverick I use a Spray-On wax from Turtle Wax. I follow the directions and spray it on all the surfaces except glass…while the trucky is still wet . A couple of soft rags and about 20 minutes later it looks really nice. The best part is that the black plastic surfaces come out deep black and shiny. It’s about $7 per bottle at Autozone or WallyWorld.
Might be worth a try for you too!

I like Meguiar’s Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer. Black on Black also works well
I am going to get some of that next time I am in AutoZone, hopefully this weekend, it would be nice to treat and protect the plastic before winter rolls around. Thanks!

This is on my list now too, it would be nice to put something on the paint that makes bug/road debris removal easier. Even though I got a bug guard to protect the hood, the painter bumper still catches bugs too well....

By the way, is it safe to assume if the magic erase works on the exterior plastics that it will work on the interior plastics? The lower parts of the doors inside the truck love to catch dirt/dust off of peoples shoes as they swing them into the truck...

I'd use a microfiber towel with soapy water first, the magic erasers are abrasive and if you use them on painted surfaces you'll eventually rub off the paint

Thanks for the heads up, I wanted to check that before doing it since I didn't want to learn a hard lesson, by the way the magic eraser worked perfectly on the exterior trim plastic.

Just an update, the magic eraser worked great. It did indeed give the plastic a bit of a "dried out" look after the fact but I put some Armor All on a cloth rag and wiped it down, looks new again. I did wash my truck with the pressure washer before hand. Thanks all!

Rubbing alcohol for the plastic, drinking alcohol for you for a job well done :D
Literally me, whenever I got to install or clean anything on this truck since its so new. By the way, after pressuring washing my truck, the only place I am getting leaks on that Diamondback is those little drain channels behind the rear glass, the drain channels on the side rails and a little around the tailgate.

My ESI tailgate gasket and Silicone RTV just came in yesterday, hoping to have those things installed next weekend and have a dry storage area afterwards.

It's fine for the bumpers, they're bare plastic. The interior panels are painted though so you have to be careful with them

Usually when I wash my vehicles, I clean out the door frames with the pressure washer, I also give a quick blast to that lower interior plastic on my door while it's open. Worked for years for my Fusion, guess I will just do that for the Maverick.

Had never found any of these plastic restore products that last very long until I tried Cerakote Plastic Restorer. Last time I used it it still looked like new after 2 years.

I am going to see how well the Armor All last but I recognize its an older product and may not have the performance of newer plastic treatments, I don't want to treat the plastic constantly since I usually wash my car once a week. If it comes to it I am going to compare product recommendations mentioned here, I already saved some to my "Amazon Wishlist".

With that said, is this the product you mentioned (Link below)?

Armor All doesn't last long but better than nothing. If you don't mind spraying and wiping down all the black plastic with it after every couple washes it's fine. Yes, those are the wipes I used. You have to clean it with strong detergent first and make sure it's completely dry. Then it takes a while to get it on nice and even everywhere but once done you can forget about it for at least 2 years afterward. FWIW - one guy on the Promaster van forum said his still looked 'almost' new after 5 years.
