Love my maverick, it feels huge until I pull into a parking lot!

I live in western Wyoming, the land of the gigantic trucks.

Man, I feel you. My husband and I live in Texas and our other two trucks are huge. When we drive this, the interior actually feels bigger than our other trucks ... Then we look over and look up at the other trucks next to us 😅😂 We love it, but we are acclimating to the change lol.

My AWD Maverick (when it arrives) will be parked next to my f-250 4WD.
Who remembers the F series TV ad where an F-150 carried a Chevy sideways on the bed while driving up a mountain of cinder blocks. Always good to have a big brother.

I'll happily drive the Maverick and put the extra $$ saved from gas and over bloated full size payment into my retirement for the last laugh on the golf course ⛳

HOWEVER....40yrs later and we still not totally improved MPG ratings of full size pickups...figure in price of gas now and we've actually went backwards...

there are definitely much better options for mileage with the ford eco boost and the Chevy 2.7. The issue I see is with the midsize trucks. Tacoma, rangers and canyons or whatever. Who buys that truck when it’s not all that much more for a full-size or far less for a maverick. They all also get pretty trash file millage for the size(honestly haven’t checked the ranger because I find it hideous)

Whenever I look over and see another pickup driver next to me all I can think is, "What a sucker!"

I got all the truck-functionality I need without all of the size I don't - with a cabin that will easily rival any midsize offering. It's no F-150 Limited or Platinum on the inside, but it's plenty comfy and is way more fun to drive.

THIS is a big reason I want a small truck. So I can zip around in parking lots and traffic.
I do notice for all the differences in size the payload is the same.
