Hello. I was wondering what destination fee everyone was quoted ? I have an invoice for $1495... seems a bit steep. I live in Florida , not sure if everyone has the samesame fee's.
Thanks. Rain
It’s the same everywhere, Ford sets the price.

That freight charge contains part of the dealer holdback IIRC from a post a couple weeks ago. In 2018 the freight on my F-150 was $950 so somebody's making money. My F-150 went from the Ford plant in Claycomo (KC MO) to Metro Ford in Independence Mo, about 15 miles away.

The freight industry is out of control. Capacity issues everywhere. Anything having to do with trucking is through the roof and the service levels have plummeted

Don’t forget the fuel surcharge getting ready to hit again because of summer to winter diesel formulation changes and an overall pressure to decrease oil production.

gonna be a fun time for logistics groups all around

You say that like Biden isn’t someone’s meat puppet. They really should have let him retire, but he has been (drumroll) biden his time.

Not my patient, if he was talking about it would be a Hipaa violation. Public figure do the Goldwater protocol prevents me from discussing it anyways.

I was in the freight industry from 1986 till 2008. Fuel surcharges were introduced in the 90’s and never went away. They’ve been with us this whole time regardless of what flavor our leadership was.

I have a buddy who runs a logistics center for Boeing product in OK. He agrees with you, so so do I, as I trust him and you say the same thing ;)

Well it’s all verifiable. Every invoice from the carrier shows the surcharge as a line item. When you visit a carrier’s website, they typically publish their surcharge, usually weekly.

Yes, but you could have said because science ninja team gatchaman never had 7-Zark-7 in the original when discussing logistics, and if Danny had said the same thing, I would still believe you because Danny said it. I trust his logistic knowledge more than my ability to read text that’s upside down.

We've had 39% in surcharges so far this year and have heard rumors of another increase still this year at work from our supplier.
