Dang, that will be over a year from order to delivery.

Congrats on the scheduled date and I salute your endurance!

hybrid lux ordered July 21. Still no build date. Doubt I’ll receive it under a year at this rate.

Emailed the dealer today to get some info and found out I am finally scheduled for May 30 build date.
Ordered an Alto Blue Hybrid Lariat Lux with CoPilot 360
Man I thought I had it bad. I’m a June 19th order with a May 9th build date. I was so close to saying F*** it and find something else because I thought it was a lost cause. I’m glad that us who have been in it for the long haul are getting build dates. Isn’t it a great feeling to get that VIN and build date? 😃

I’m right there with you. I was close to throwing in the towel. I have a 16 yr old who needs my car and it’s been a hassle this year but I’m glad now I’ve waited and finally got at least one step closer.

That I can’t answer. I would hope so. At least it seems they are trying to ramp up production right now on all the older orders.

I wish there was a way to put our order dates on a tracking tool but I guess with all the options it would be a mess. I do know for a fact that others with my same build, Hybrid FE RR, and an order date LATER than mine, have gotten a build date. I would say they are still using the dealership priority. I ordered from a small dealership so it may be awhile still. I understand that larger dealerships sell more but how do the little guys ever catch up if FORD punishes them by not building their orders.

Check the fordvideoguy’s last live YouTube session from last night (4/19/22). He covered this very topic.

And he had a spreadsheet just like you suggested.

My thoughts exactly. It looks like Ford is still using their ( mysterious) dealer allocation process rather than the oldest orders first approach they allegedly implemented recently. Still seeing folks getting built dates for the same vehicles well ahead of earlier orders. I ordered through a relatively small dealer who has yet to receive a single hybrid. If all small and medium sized dealers in less populous areas are getting overlooked by Ford, they’re going to cripple their ability to serve their customers. Collectively, the ā€œrural ā€œ customers probably bring Ford more business than the urban ā€œmajor leaguers.ā€

Yeah, you and I experienced similar waits: June 24 and the week of May 16...

I’m really hoping that when it’s time to do the paperwork I don’t have to deal with BS. I put $1000 down about a year ago and that should enough extra cost to the dealer. $1000k with a year interest on there part is plenty.
