I see quite a few buyers stating that they've waited 6, 7, 8 months... Well, I placed my order online and sealed the deal at my dealership on June 24, 2021.
Seeing a post here that unscheduled Maverick buyers received an email explaining delays confused me because I've been unscheduled and received no such email. Called the dealer, Crossroads Ford in Apex, NC, and they were really good about chasing it down. Looks like the guy who took my order back in June moved on the the finance department and never sent me the email with the VIN and possible build week date. Not good...
So, if it doesn't change, my build week is May 16, 2022, meaning it'll be a year (or longer!) from ordering to sitting behind the wheel.
