Does this mean that if, today being 4/7/2022, you should know by now that your Mav is scheduled for production on 6/2/2022, eight weeks from now?
Next week they will start scheduling for June production dates.

You'd assume that if pushed to MY23, they'd prioritize constraint items to those builds before new MY23 orders from Aug 16th on. Would you assume the same @fordvideoguy

Thank you for your response.

I'm considering going to my dealer this weekend to drop the lux package. I would be fine sticking with my Mav order if I was scheduled for a June build...as long as I knew I was scheduled for a June build. I guess if I don't get any notification that I'm scheduled within the next three to four weeks, I need to consider other options.

If I still had a vehicle to drive it wouldn't be a big deal, but I got rid of mine in December thinking I'd have a Mav within three to six months, and it's been more than three months and no feedback yet other than order confirmed.

Feel bad for people that ordered ecoboost well before I did that are still twiddling their thumbs.

Hello Tim @fordvideoguy. On my initial paperwork for my Maverick xl with only option being a drop in bedliner, the priority code is 80. Seeing different opinions about this. I emailed my salesman tonight, but I just remembered he is off on Fridays. I still don’t have a build date, but have contacted Ford by phone and chat several times and they have confirmed my order. Anything to be concerned about with that 80 code? Thank you.

@fordvideoguy this was posted in another topic but can you explain?

I heard the same production numbers for the Maverick, and I also heard him talking about 21,000 Bronco Sports being bulld in June at the same plant. He mentioned the Maverick list of constraints, but I think the ones most people would be interested in is the Hybrid Engine is constrained to 40% and CoPilot 360 is constrained to 32%. That said, it looks like only 4,000 hybrid Maverick trucks per month are built.

What I find interesting is that CoPilot 360 is standard equipment in the Bronco Sport, so there is obviously no constraint for those 21,000 vehicles. But for the 10,000 Mavericks, only 3,200 will see CoPilot 360.

Assuming that the CP360 chipsets/circuitry is the same for both vehicles, the constraint seems interesting considering the backlog of Maverick Hybrids out there. As a side note, one can look at the Bronco Sport forum where it seems that they have a backlong akin to the non-hybrid Maverick.

Please, someone tell me if my numbers or thought process is wrong.

Yes, just like they do now for early orders.

They put your order in as a stock order instead of a retail order. Retail orders have a priority code of 10-19, stock orders have a priority code of 20-80. You need to ask them to change the order type to retail and priority code to 10. It will date your order to the last day but at this point your order would be scheduled anyway because Ford won't schedule a stock order ahead of a retail order.

Tim @fordvideoguy, I sure hope they changed the code after my October 30 date. It sounds like you are saying my October date just became January. I hope to hear good news from my salesman on Saturday. Thank you for responding and your Tuesday shows.

Seems pretty accurate except that they were trying to produce 5k Maverick a month.
Tim, you keep saying that Ford will produce all First Editions but when the Bronco came out it appears they built approx 4400 out of 7500 orders. What did Fords do to those order they could not fulfil. Did they do something for them in MY22.
‘What will they do for us FE orders if they cannot fulfil them

Ford originally planned to do a small run of first editions but the website screwed up and ended up taking too many first edition orders. In the Maverick they closed it first editions early so they can build them all.

But remember, given the changes to the Ford email system, you won't be emailed when they schedule you for a build week, only when they've scheduled you for a build day.

Tim has mentioned that this latter part is approximately 2 weeks prior to the build day, which means in your example, if you are indeed scheduled for production during the week of 6/6 (the first June week that actually starts in the month of June), you won't likely get an email from Ford until approximately May 23rd (which is approximately when they'll have your build day scheduled).

However, you can call Ford customer service (or chat with them online) at any time to find out if a VIN has been assigned (a precursor which means your build week is either already scheduled or will be within days), as well as a scheduled build week (if they have scheduled it).

Hey Tim, I have a quick question. I will most likely keep my order the way it is and not take the LUX or CP360 out. Unfortunately, this means I probably will not get scheduled till the MY23 year. If my Mav gets rolled over to the MY23, will they take the LUX package and CP360 off of my current build? The LUX package is essential for me and I'm debating just getting a Ranger if this is the case.
