Lettering on the Maverick stamp on the tailgate

I'm thinking of putting lettering on my tailgate as well, but I will wait until I actually get my truck, and maybe use my Ford points. Has anyone purchased and installed the Ford Black Platinum letters? I'm thinking the black would look better on my CO truck. Also, are they thick/hard? I'm not interested in the vinyl ones.

That's a poor choice of your Ford points as the Lettering choices on Ebay are many and most are priced 1/2 the cost of the Ford ones

Black Platinum, even on shadow black. They will accent the Maverick logo from all angles because of their mirror reflective effect.

It's the black platinum kit from Ford accessories. I used some of my ford pass points to pay for them. They are thick, rough laser cut around the edges but looks good installed.

Thanks, I assumed you had gotten them directly from Ford. They’re obviously more costly but they do look good on your truck, and I’m sure would look good on my HPR truck.

By the way I noticed earlier you mentioned Woody Anderson Ford and you live in Huntsville. My mother in-law used to live in Madison till we moved her up here to be close to us. We helped her buy a Ford Fusion from Woody back in 2016, and they seem like a good dealership. I forget the salesman’s name but he’s a good guy.

I did Stainless Steel because my Maverick is Rapid Red and Black. Only other color is the Ford Blue name plates.
