Is powered mirrors really something people can’t live without? I’ve never had powered mirrors so maybe I don’t know what I’m missing.

Just like many others on here, take the advice and keep the FCP360. It's well worth it. Some think they're so confident they don't need safety aids until they do. It includes:

- Adaptive Cruise Control with stop and go
- Blind-Spot Monitoring
- Land Departure Alert (vibrates steering wheel)
- Lane-Keep Assist
- Forward Collision Warning w/ AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking)

There might be others that I'm missing but it's well worth the wait to have more safety features that you won't want to live without. Also, the more safety features a vehicle has, the less the insurance is gonna be. Something to think about. As a result of mine, I'm paying $60 less a month on insurance thanks to the safety package.

Maybe you drive your own truck and you're the only one who does, some people have multiple drivers in their house. Imagine having 2 or 3 different people of varying height and seat positions driving the Maverick on a rotational basis and had to adjust the mirrors without power each and every time.

If you have more than one driver, you have to change the mirror setting whenever you change drivers. That means no matter what the weather, rain, sleet or snow, the passenger has to open the window to adjust the mirror for you. A real pain in the butt.

Listen to the people on the forum that had 360 or a facsimile of it on a previous vehicle like me.
You will never buy another vehicle without the system. Wait for it.

360 and power mirrors are a package - GET IT.

I'm a bit confused on the 360. I've driven some vehicles where the collision avoidance, etc. was only available when cruise was set. I have an XL w/ 360, so no cruise, will I be missing out on some functionality w/out cruise?

When cruise control is engaged, 360 keeps you at a safe distance from the vehicle in front of your truck. When cruise is off, I don't know what will happen. Will it give you a warning? Haven't tried running up to a vehicle to find out.

Anybody else know if you get a warning before you run over somebody?

This is incorrect. Cruise control has nothing to do with 360. You probably have the Lariat Lux which has adaptive cruise control which uses a radar sensor in the front of the vehicle to maintain distance and stop the vehicle in traffic. The only model that has that radar sensor is the Lariat Lux package, regular 360 doesn't have or use that. All Maverick models regardless of whether or not they have 360 use the standard front facing camera for emergency automatic braking, has nothing to do with cruise control or CP360.

Thanks, I do and have not driven on the interstate to try all the electronics out yet.

I prefer radar when I'm approaching a 40mph vehicle and I'm going 60mph, not a front facing camera to brake my truck.

We bought this truck for my wife to replace her 2009 Pontiac Vibe. Since she drives it 99% of the time there was no way in hell that I wasn't going to add the safety features that 360 offers especially for only $540.

She IS NOT a bad driver but for the cost and extra peace of mind it offers it seemed like a no brainer. Now that we have it and she's been driving it for 2 months I'm so glad I stuck with our original order and didn't drop the CP360 option.

Not all those features are available on the XL and XLT models.

The Feds should make this standard equipment on all cars and trucks to save American lives. Isn't that part of their mission statement to keep Americans safe?

Cant you use MyKey if you want different settings like mirrors for different drivers?

Without reading everything don't you need 360 for ACC cause it has lane centering/lane keeping

I got 360 because my 80 yr old father might borrow the truck and I don't want him fucking it up

People are understandably confused about what CP-360 adds to the truck's technology. CP-360 has several different features, but which ones you get depends in part on which trim line you bought.

The following chart is part of the trim comparisons brochure I got last summer. The "P" in each column means that you get that feature with the CP-360 package if you have that trim. I don't know if it's still completely accurate.

I have an XLT with CP-360. I got the blind spot and cross-traffic features, along with the lane-keep aid and alert. But I didn't get the other features.

The features in the following chart are listed as part of the standard features, not part of CP-360.

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying you can get Adaptive Cruise Control without adding CP-360? Or something else?
