2 random questions for those who have their maverick

I ordered my XLT hybrid in July 2021...arrived and took possession in March 2022...worth the wait for me.. love the truck... Android auto must be cabled.. hope this helps...

It does help I just hope I don't have to wait a year for it. I got an email from Ford over the weekend basically telling me what I already knew and it was hey we are experiencing delays, like no! Really I had no ideal lol ?

I use Android auto and apple but both through cable. The Bluetooth works for just calls as far as I have seen.

10 months and I always use the wire so it charges too (my phone doesn't have the wireless charging back so I don't use the mat.)

Just two random questions to those that have received their truck.

1. How long did it take from ordering to it arriving at the dealership?

112 days: Ordered 8/23 and delivered 12/13

2. With Android auto does it matter if you hardwire or use Bluetooth and if so are there any performance differences between the two ?

I believe that it has to be wired to use "Android Auto" features like Google Maps etc.

Bluetooth can be used for phone calls and maybe playing audio files.

I ordered my no option XL EB FWD on 1/5/2022, it was built 3/9/2022, and delivered 4/4/2022. Overall no complaints on the order process other than I never received one emailed update from Ford. I worked with Customer Service and the dealer for updates. No wireless Carplay, cable only unless you get a wireless adapter. Blue tooth works for phone and music very well.
