Yup. Hybrid XLT Lux.

I love how it's an "important update" but doesn't tell us a thing

NOW I AM EVEN MORE FRUSTRATED, FIRST ORDER WAS JUNE 30, 2021. AND SOOOOOOO MANY OTHERS, THAT ORDERED WELL AFTER THAT TIME, HAVE TAKEN DELIVERY!!! Envious, yet patiently waiting.

How many of us complained about not hearing anything since our initial email?

I wish this had more substance and detail too, or a build date... But it's what we've been asking for.

(I'm a June order)

Ford responds in a positive way to stress the supply chain issues to customers who have a maverick on order, likely because they have been met with negativity because of lack of communication.

Ford communicates. People complain and spout negativity.

So when you ordered in June, you didn’t know and ford didn’t tell you that actual production wouldn’t even begin until September?

seems like it’s been about 5 months in reality
when I ordered it was "they will start being produced in September" and I ordered in the first week.

*** To All Who Did Not Get This Email ***

If you didn't receive this email and you have checked your SPAM folder, this thread is evidence that your email is NOT in Ford's system and you will NEVER get the email you have been so patiently waiting for. This "Computer Generated" email went out to ALL customers who have orders with Ford (all lines and all models) who have not completed the sale with a dealer. This does not mean you haven't a legitimate order, just that you don't have an email address in the system. Make sure your salesman entered it correctly.

Call your dealer and get your email in the system.
You are spreading misinformation! I didn't get this email, but I did get an email confirming that my production date is for the week of 4/11, so I obviously do have an email address in Ford's system!

Please stop with your hysteria, making people worry needlessly! Very irresponsible!

Ok, so stop counting June, July, and august. September was a learning/ramp up. Lots of downtime in December. Be patient.

I mean what do you expect ford to do?

And yes, you should maybe take a look at your life and be happier. Don’t stress over the little things like a car order.

The people who count “waiting months” from before production begin in September probably also add 9 months to their real age because that was when they were conceived. Hahahahaha.

for "fall delivery" doesn't mean every single order is built and shipped in that time-frame.

I got the same email last night for my Hybrid Lariat with luxury package. I ordered it on Oct 27th and received a confirmation email on the 28th. Since then nothing. I think Ford is reacting to several news reports about events around the world that are affecting supply of parts. For example, I read that Ford has halted production of the F150 because 27 vendors have defaulted on their ability to provide parts. I also read that Ford's chip supplier in Japan, Renesas, was forced to suspend operations at three of its Japanese plants after a major earthquake ravaged the area earlier this week.

Bottom line: things are going well for Ford (or the other car makers). Its going to be a bumpy ride

yep, including last 2 weeks of December factory shutdown for holidays and 1 or 2 other weeks they didn't have enough materials to build and idled factory.
