For all that's holy please don't forget to remove that idiotic WARNING label on the driver's window! Truly amazing how many people drive around with that 4" square window sticker!
I see people driving in CA with this label on the drivers window.

Used the Maverick to move some old server equipment for disposal. With the black rubber mat the equipment barely moved during the short trip. Tried to put on the Ebay tailgate letters but they didnt seem to fit right and looked cheap so I decided to take the hit and toss them. Planning to get the ford silver ones and put those on. Might look better anyways!
Were those the raised or the flat letters? I was planning on ordering the raised ones on Etsy.

Picked up my new Maverick today, so far the only thing I’ve done to it is to get the windex out to clean forehead smudges off my drivers side windows from people scoping the interior before I drove it home today.
Congratulations and enjoy!

The flat letters, they seemed too small. Can you link me the raised letters?

Added the chrome lettering and my Horned Frog chrome sticker today! Much better than the plain blue lettering that was standard.

I know! It's uncanny how people can drive around with this ridiculous sticker still affixed to their window! Screams "dumba**" to any observer.

Those that know me know one of my favorite sayings is β€œnothing is as easy as you think it will beβ€œ. My old added proved correct again today when I tried to install the simple tailgate lift that everyone has been talking about. I got the one part on but I did not have a large enough hex nut or whatever it’s called to attach the part where are the hanger for the tailgate is☹ So tomorrow I either start calling some of my mechanical friends or go to Harbor freight and pick up a larger set of hex nuts/wrenches, whatever they’re calledπŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

They’re torx heads.Follow the directions carefully when it comes to the nut and screw into the tailgate.

They're called Torx heads. You'll need a number 50, I believe. Most kits only go up to 25, so probably will need to purchase separately

I wrote a song...

Sung to the tune of "I'm an old Cowhand"

I'm an ole' Mav driver
from Cape Cod, Bass River

but my Mav ain't here
can't drive in the sand

I'm a Mav boy who never drove a Mav
never groped a dial shifter cause I don't know how
and I sure ain't fixin' to start mine now

Jiffy I hope Ford aye?
Jiffy I hope ford aye!
