So, I'm pretty sure (say 80%) that when I placed my order in Oct, 2021, it listed Adaptive Cruise Control in the list of Co-Pilot 360 features for the XLT Hybrid. I've been looking forward to using it! Unfortunately, I didn't actually save screenshots during my online ordering process, so can't be sure. Maybe I just assumed.

However, I've just been reading some of the other forum threads, and people are saying that only the Lariat trim has the ACC option (at least in the US), with some other posts indicating that it was an option in Canada for the Hybrid XLT, but it was an error on the Ford Canada website, and it's not actually available. Regardless, I'm a bit confused about. Right now, the Ford Canada website does NOT list ACC as an option for the XLT Hybrid with CP360.

So, does anyone here in Canada, with a Hybrid XLT with CP360, have ACC? If it was indeed an error and not available, paint me kinda disappointed!

Nope ACC was not part of the CP360, I ordered mine in 7-2021 and it was;t listed then. Only in the Lariat do you get ACC. Just be grateful you get cruise since the XL doesn't even get that, I'm just wondering if we can code the XLT to get ACC.

As the above poster mentioned, ACC is only available on the Lariat Lux package. The good thing is that since you have a hybrid it already has the very expensive electric assisted brake booster that the ACC system requires and that only the Lariat Lux ecoboost models have. If you were feeling handy, for a pretty minimal amount you could add the front facing radar sensor, the wiring harness, the steering wheel switches and then enable it with Forscan but that's another story.

As long as you have a hybrid you potentially could.......you would also need the pretty expensive front facing radar sensor, the wiring harness for it and the steering wheel mounted switches (and possibly a new clockspring) and then program it with Forscan

Thanks for the replies!

I remember humming and hawing about the Maverick for months, going through the different options.

I'll bet at one point ACC was listed (mistakenly), and when I ordered, I just assumed that what I had seen earlier was still valid, but it wasn't. (I remember even wondering at one point that they listed CP360 (with ACC) for the XL, but they indicated the XL didn't have cruise, which confused me....how could come with ACC if it didn't even has cruise as standard.)

If ACC was listed, it was from a dealer. Ford has never listed in the 100's of things I have seen anything but ACC being a part of Lariat Luxury Package. Which, since you cannot even get a Lariat Hybrid in Canada, would not be available there at all except with the EcoBoost. So Canadian Hybrids get hosed.

I'll have to keep an eye out in the junk yards.

ACC has never been listed for anything other than the Lariat Lux. If you saw it it was on a dealer site and they screwed up, Ford has always listed it as only an option on the Lariat Lux, this may have been your own confusion.

It was a bit confusing. I assumed 360 option was same 360 on all trims.

I happened to notice lane centering wasn’t listed on the XLT list but was in the Lariat lux 360 list and determined that lane centering and ACC were unique to Lariat lux. Changed my order to lariat lux 3 days after ordering the XLT

Yes it’s super frustrating you can’t get a hybrid lariat with all the features, so I went with a loaded XLT. I will explore the ACC retrofit / lane centering retrofit when mine arrives one day.

I'm not losing my mind, I swear. :)

Others have seen it on the Ford Canada site as well. Further down in the first thread, it indicates that it was an error on the Ford Canada site, and they removed ACC once they discovered the error.

Regardless, I got my answer, doesn't come with it.

Anybody made any progress on doing this aftermarket or buying the parts and activating with FORscan?

Ummm forscan can’t enable hardware it doesn’t have. There is a radar sensor in the front grill it needs for ACC and needs to be calibrated. Lane centering use the camera mounted above the rear view mirror.. Different systems..

Right, which is why I specified buying the hardware AND enabling. Calibrating and such I'm sure adds some hurdles but it seems theoretically possible at least with some effort...
