My dealer is confident my EB AWD Lariat Lux 4K SIBL will get built in 2022 and I ordered early Jan.

I've lurked this forum for months to get some insight into when my truck might be built and delivered and found it comforting I'm not the only one that has wondered just wtf is going on at Ford. Anyway, I finally called Ford corporate today to see if they had any status on the Maverick XLT Hybrid I ordered last October from a local dealer and which Ford had long ago confirmed via email. The Ford rep told me that parts delays were a problem but are now mostly resolved and it's now transportation from rail yards to dealers that is the major bottleneck. The Ford rep assured me that the truck will be built and delivered within the next few months and they will fill all confirmed orders. They told me to contact my dealer and get a few pieces of info to better determine where I stand in their allocation.

So, I call my dealer and am informed that they just received notice from Ford this morning that no more XLTs or Hybrids will be built this year if they are not already scheduled for production. WTF!! I told my sales rep what Ford had just told me this morning, which is 100% the opposite of what the dealer had just told me and they had no explanation. I plan to call Ford again tomorrow to see what they say in response to what my dealer told me.

My dealer has been keeping me posted on the status regularly and I have no reason to believe they are lying since my sales rep told me she had to make about 10 bad calls to other customers today.

I was hesitant to buy a Ford to begin with, so if it turns out Ford has indeed screwed us, I will never consider them again. What a cluster.
I was literally told the exact same thing and had the same scenario happen almost 4 weeks ago to my June order...I also received a lot of the same comments you're getting because no one of this sub, Facebook, or Reddit believes me, you, or plenty of others that have already said the exact same thing the past month.

Hey everyone...this isn't one giant fucking conspiracy between random members on this forum..it's true and happening, and guys that ordered Hybrids in the summer and fall ARE getting rolled over to 2023s.

Below is the post I made almost 4 weeks ago. Hybrids WILL still get scheduled...but not for everyone that ordered long ago.

Would you just chill out. For screwed you? Really? They don't want to sell you anything. Just another impatient person who expects Ford to be Amazon Prime after going through a two year parts and supplier issue that is out of their control. Why don't you order a Cybertruck? I've had my Maverick Hybrid Lariat for three weeks after ordering in June. It takes time!
good for you, so much is out of Ford control- lighten up everyone, your time will come

Hmmm I think I've heard this before, like maybe once or twice a week lol. And then immediately see a ton of new hybrids scheduled each week.

I call BS on dealer..

Gotta love these "my dealer told me" threads.
But all those people making these claims, like myself, are NOT getting their hybrids scheduled.

This issue is dealer specific.

I've commented on everyone that's ever made this claim since I did nearly a month ago. None of us have since been scheduled, and we all ordered from small dealerships.

Yes, hybrids will still get scheduled in the coming weeks...but not everyone that ordered long ago. Just because others are lucky enough to get scheduled, others that ordered long ago are still getting fucked over and rolled over to 2023s

The truck I ordered last year has finally arrived at the dealership. They have it up for sale at $11,000 more than I agreed to. Who can I contact at Ford Corp to resolve this issue?

On a side note, he also tried to change mine to priority 10..but it was changed back to 19 by ford.
Nope. Dealers set the priority code range from 10 to 19. Ford corporate will drop it to a 2 when they are considering it for build scheduling. Corporate Ford has nothing to do with the dealer set priority from 10 up.

Jenny, you know better than to swim naked.

You could get sun burned.
I'm more afraid of ants. I have this weird, unnatural fear that I'll trip on something on my back porch and die of head trauma and I'll be found being consumed by THOUSANDS of ants.

Everyone beachside has ant problems. We have our extermination company come out at least 2-3 times a year and they said the entire beachside from GA to southern Florida is one giant ant colony. That's a freaky concept.

Are they trying to charge you $11k more for the truck or is that just what is listed on their site?

I have just the thing for your myrmecophobia.

(BTW, the fear of ants might have evolutionary roots; early humans had to sleep and eat in the open where ants often bit them or contaminated their food. The human brains are thus pre-programmed to feel a disgust response at the sight of ants.)

Once you drive your brand new Maverick for the first time, you will feel more self-confident, secure, bold and powerful. You will no longer fear the once dreaded ant.

That was very informative!

As an aside, once upon a time long, long ago I had a boyfriend who just about wrecked his truck when a moth flew into the window and touched his face.
