Well made some bed dividers. I utilized two 2” x 6”. One cut to 54-1/8” and the other to 46-1/4”. I utilized three dowel pins to secure the boards together. The top board can be removed and will fit into the slot on the fender wells. I painted the boards with Bedliner paint.

Well, I learned something from your post. I wasn't aware bed liner paint was available.

Awesome options.

I did a 2x10, angle on top corners to clear bed/bed cover, a tight fit into slot. I wrapped the Board with floor rubber matting. No noise at all. Decent look. Those are nails that you see. I put spray adhesive under it, but not strong

I like how you did that! Great look. Most rubber matting that I've seen would be too thick to wrap it as nicely as you did and still fit in the slots. Where did you get the mats? I've seen them at the 99Β’ Store for 99Β’, an unbelievable bargain, by the way, but I'm uncertain on how easily they would wrap.

I purchased at Home Depot. Just search for β€œDiamond plate rubber matting”. I could have spent more time making it tighter on the board, but the end result was okay. As someone else mentioned, the 2x10 isn’t easy to take in and out. Mine probably won’t move unless absolutely necessary.

Same as I do everyday....wash, clay bar and ceramic seal it (no wonder I wake up tired) My dream is as real as my imaginary truck I'm waiting on.

Thanks. So they were pretty thin, I'm thinking.

Gave it a wash, and tried my best at claying and putting SiO2 on it. Didn't take pics as it was getting dark but took some at the end of the night once it was parked.

Noticed some nasty scuffs, scratches, and chips on the paint =|

Purchased a Ford hood deflector for the hood. Took it out of
the box and it was cracked. Back to the dealer it went. By the way, the deflector is very thin, with very sharp edges.

Looks like it fits nice and snug! Any idea how well it prevents water intrusion in and around the bed?
I just saw this. I have the cover and it leaks, leaks, and leaks. It came from Ford. If you go under the cover you can see sun light. I purchased some moulding and have stopped the leakage by 90 percent. Ford should have a recall on these covers. If there was better moulding it would not leak.

I'm looking to take my Maverick out on the sand on long island NY, the sand is extremely soft due to the high traffic on out limited beach use areas. even without heavy use the sand is soft, not like what i drive on when i drove near my parents in NC. Many people don't air down and the tire ruts are very deep so im concerned for the clearance in those previous ruts.

The sand looks fairly firm in your post? Did you airdown at all?

Thank you, hoping to see more sand footage from maverick owners when the weather breaks.

I picked up one yesterday, spent several hours washing my truck and preparing to apply it only to find a deep scratch in it in. So today it goes back to the dealer. ☹

Went to Wally world today to get those RV water filters for my hose that one of the members mentioned as a good way to cut down on water spots. I parked way at the back of the parking lot so nobody would ding my doors. When I was walking back to my truck I saw three people standing around and I was thinking somebody must’ve hit it or something happened 😱

As I got closer I saw the wife taking pictures so I invited them to take a look inside. They were from Ohio and said they had a Maverick XLT on order since last year and this was the first one they had seen in the wild. I asked if they were part of the MTC group and they did not know anything about it so I invited them to join and gave them my username to say hello when they got online. I also told them about my GY thread and to check threads about their dealer in OH. Looking forward to our group growing and helping others either waiting for or enjoying their Mavericks!
