metallic and pearl is the hardest to blend.I
My understanding though is that white is the hardest paint to blend with the rest of the vehicle. Hopefully with the location of the damage and age of your vehicle that won’t be a problem.
Sorry to see that, get a price from a competitive body shop then one from your dealer (and a competitor dealer to keep them both honest) tell them all that this is NOT an insurance thing it is a cash thing that you're personally paying for. And don't include any body shop that doesn't have excellent reviews. That's pretty much cosmetic damage and you're probably going to keep this for a while. Good luckSo our first minor fender bender happened today. While pulling out of a parking spot the front passenger side bumper side swiped the vehicle next to it......sigh......I know these things happen but at less than 200 miles it's frustrating....why oh why????
Anyway, just wanted to get everyones opinion on how to proceed. Unfortunately turning it over to insurance is not an option so we were thinking about just calling the dealer we bought it from and making an appointment with the body shop. Is that a solid plan?
Here's a pic of the damage. As you can see it's not bad but we want to get it fixed.

Find a Maaco and they should take care of it for about 700 dollars. So our first minor fender bender happened today. Spoken like a true Washingtonian east of the Cascades. I bet you're the kind of guy who will hack his own cruise control. Oh, wait. You already did!Buy a rattle can of paint, and spray it. I'd seriously consider doing just that.
Hate to say it, but that's a concern. My 2017 Toyota was rear ended a couple of years ago. It honestly just looked like very minor damage, but it turned out that between the rear bumper and the rest of the car, there are...sensors and stuff. Damages were something north of $2,000.That's what we are most worried about. Something damaged behind the bumper like a 360 sensor or something. That's what got us thinking the dealership body shop might be better...??
This is our first new vehicle ever and we just want to make sure it gets fixed right...does that make sense?
